Commonwealth Bank Maroochydore Branch

After calling 132221 yesterday twice and waiting 43min and over 1 hour only to be cut off twice. I then called the Maroochydore Branch as my parents have been account holders for over 20 years. My Dad is 97 and in Aged Care and my Mother is 94 and has just come out of hospital after a heart attack. They received a letter to renew a Term Deposit. All we wanted to do was to Reinvest the whole amount for another 12 months. I was told that my father would need to call and leave a message and they would call back today. No call back. As my Dad is very hard of hearing I was trying to help. I am very disappointed with the way this has been not attended to. I thought we could look after our elders a lot better. I am glad I do not bank with the Commonwealth Bank. Commonwealth Bank. Commonwealth Bank.

Ever since joining the CBA like 10 years ago now, maybe more, I have had nothing but great things to say about them as a bank. From their excellent customer service to their awesome app, they're just a great bank all round. Keep it up guys. 👍I'm a genuine customer too, I'm not affiliated with them at all nor have I been paid to write this review. I just really like the cba.

They have a good selection of deposit/withdrawal machines when closed

I went to the Maroochydore branch this morning as my husband passed away last month and I knew there were matters to address. The lovely lady at the entrance greeted me and got me a glass of water and sat me down while she got the Manager, Jacinta. These woman are pure gold. Jacinta helped me in so many ways most, I'm sure were things that I should have done myself, but she did anyway. Her friendly manner and expertise was amazing. Congratulations CBA for employing such wonderful staff.

Wanted to set up a bank account today. Rich was extremely helpful and very kind. Would definitely recommend him to anyone. Thankyou!

I see now why CBA got so many single stars, the bullying left wing ivory tower, bubble heads have got together to protest. I'm only interested in the service, and services provided, and Com Bank seem to be trying much harder than the competition.

Went in recently to update my personal details. Both the greeter and the person(jodie) who assisted me were very helpful, friendly and non judgmental.

I went to the Commonwealth bank in Maroochydore this morning and the stuff was very helpful and friendly. My issue has been quickly sorted out. Thank you :)

Good customer service

Unfortunately it appears another unfavorable review for this business. After searching for a local currency conversion on the coast, I attended the branch. Unfamiliar to the new protocols of this bank where their appeared a number of people aimlessly wandering, I politely asked a Com Bank representative (after she finished speaking to someone) about my request to change currency back into AUD after a recent holiday of the amount of $300 Euro. She said to line up at the teller. I must admit it was just on lunch time and the single teller operator was flat out. So I waited along with the 15+ other customers, some sitting and some forming what appeared an order of entry. Soon after the make shift line continued to grow. With not much prospect of any sign of an additional teller to quell the "wait time" I struck up a conversion with the person behind me and we started discussing the direction corporations level of wokeness on display, at least it created a nominal diversionary tactic whilst anticipating some sort of resemblance of customer service for a short time at least. Thirty minutes later on having the privilege of being serviced by a teller operator I was dutifully informed that not being a Com Bank account holder I was deemed ineligible in selling my $300 Euro for Aus $ to the Commonwealth Bank at this time as the "cash could not be traced" from an unsecured source.
Dumbfounded by the reply and wasting 30 minutes in a futile pursuit of any customer service, I can't imagine how a business can treat any potential customer with such a poor level of service is beyond me.
Constructive criticism Com Bank- if you spent as much time and resources on implementing the woke propaganda evident at this branch diverted into a customer service strategy I think it would be a no brainer to your bottom line.

This is not a reflection of the staff at the MAROOCHYDORE branch. They were doing their best to help people. But wait times over 2 hours to see a business banker and cant get an appointment for 3 weeks. Completely understaffed and overwhelmed.

Combank shut my TRUST bank account with no notice due to inactivity..

If you want to be a business banking leader you need to let people book business banking appts online or through the app message system. I do not have time during the week to wait 2 hours in a queue.

Also maybe don't close peoples accounts with no warning?

This took me over 5 hours to fix in wait times on the phone and queue...

Get better or people will move banks

Absolute worst service, waited 45 mins for a simple task, place quiet, four staff walking around doing nothing. It seems a fail at school, a lobotomy and complete lack of interest in work or service are the criteria to work here.

You’d think it would be a little easier to set up our staff with credit cards and enable our accountant to access our business account. Yet, 12 months later this issue still hasn’t been resolved.

Traveled for over an hour from our property to finally get some insight after hours on hold, multiple useless “chat” messages, and (now) four trips to the bank.

Lo and behold. They don’t want to help you! After driving around and around in circles because their directions take you to random places, then trying to call with no answer, I arrived at 320pm only to be told that they close at 4pm and couldn’t see me. There just wasn’t enough time!

I wonder how the world would work if all businesses decided that their actual closing time, which doesn’t even extend to full business hours for Australia’s highest profiting bank (at your expense), was an hour before their stated closing time? To add insult to injury, the lady told me that she’s served me before. I’ve never been into the branch however, she felt the need to tell me that she “remembered my aggressive attitude…”

Thankfully, a part of the visit today was to close down our mortgage with Commbank. A challenge to even be able to see anyone to get that done. Profiting at every customers expense, but not willing to help said customers during business hours. Everything that’s wrong with the world can be reflected in one bank! Which bank?

Popped in there this morning to hopefully get some help with savings accounts. Could make it past the young brown haired security guard I’d imagine they call customer service. All she had to say was we don’t give help/advice, use the app. What a joke, but I should have expected it. She turned away the three customers in front of me with the use the app excuse. Very poor customer experience. I walked over to Westpac, they were so busy but were very helpful.
