Crocodile Caravan Park

We recently stayed here over the Easter period, the owners are amazingly friendly down to earth people, their staff are also lovely. the facilities are well clean and maintained. Great camp kitchen with all that you need at your finger tips. Thanks for having us and for your lovely hospitality. People if you are travelling to Lightening Ridge I would certainly recommend staying at this park and an added bonus is the prices are also great. Cheers Wendy and Bernie

We came here in the school holidays with the family. booked in last minute and managed to get a spot for 3 nights. other camping was fully booked. id describe the place like a crocodile, not very welcoming at first. After settling in we got used to the place. Lots of oldies staying some a few nights some over night. everyone was friendly. Dog was allowed almost everywhere. Owner helped me light the bbq. owners opened up the pool for us as it was closed on arrival in early october. clean toilet, clean kitchen. only thing id change about park is maybe a bit more greenery. like big trees. just not sure how possible that is with the climate and size of park too. Prices are also great too!

Lionel, Deb and Shane are lovely and made you feel welcome. The pool is fantastic and clean.
Lionel showed us to our site and assisted my husband with the caravan and even recommending us a great around town tour.
Shane was happy to share his knowledge on opals, so thanks.

Great place to stay and close to the town centre. We camped in a tent and there is a nice grassy area where you can set up your tent. Amenities are very clean and plenty of hot water for showering. They have a sink and hot water you can use for washing your dishes. Communal kitchen with a stove, microwave and lounge chairs. Laundry with a clothes dryer and a swimming pool. It’s a family run business and they are friendly, polite and take good care of you. Prices are very good. Highly recommend and the next time I’m in town camping I will stay here again.

Great spot. This is the second time I've stayed here, in the last 12 months. Very helpful and courteous owners. I've heard other campers say, the park has the best camp kitchen they've seen, and it is well supplied. The music played in the near and clean ammenities is a very nice addition to the park.
What a welcome to the out back, thank you owners and staff of this "Gem in the West." It's situated in town so, it's walking distance to the whole town centre. There are only about 12 caravan sites, so bookings are essential. They do have quite a few cabins and retro caravans, though. I'll be back.

From the moment we arrived Deb and Lionel made us very welcome. Their park is cute and very well maintained. A great place to stay and very well priced compared to others in the town.

One of the nicest owner's you will ever meet with comfortable accommodation plus space for your van or r,v, with laundry facilities and right in town so you are within walking distance to everything you would like ,plus pet friendly and gatherings with owner's and people staying there oh and a swimming pool aswell

I just loved this caravan park. On arrival I was warmly welcomed. Lionel then guided me to parking my new motor home and for the next week I explored the area. The park was clean, gr8 location, just loved the music in the clean laundry & bathrooms. I would recommend this caravan park & will definitely book to stay there when I next travel to one of the friendliest towns, Lightning Ridge.LVH

Great proprietors very friendly even parked our van for us when we arrived.
Best camp kitchen has everything you need crockery pots and pans cooking facilities big tables and happy time from 5pm.
in the main street of a Lightning Ridge so you can walk to anywhere that you want to. Love it here.

Loved this place. Lionel and Deb. Quirky, full of character, plenty of amenities, virtually in town or within walking distance. This is a home grown park, not state of the art, which reflects the owners personality. Will return. Recommended without hesitation.

Nice and clean small park so have to book. Lovely owners and staff. Great camp kitchen. Walk to bowls club and pub is just over the road.

Deb and Lionel who own and run this caravan park are amazing! They towed us six kilometres into town after we hit a kangaroo and picked up take away dinner for us on the way. When our car was written off and we had to return to Sydney to get a new one they stored our caravan for two weeks at no cost to us.

The caravan park is clean and functional and the happy hour at 5pm every night is good fun.

The owner's Lionel and Deb and there sidekick Shane are awesome very friendly and helpful with clean amenities and spacious sites and also very reasonable rates when visiting Lightning Ridge i recommend the Crocodile Caravan Park because when Barb and I come back we certainly will be thanks again Lionel, Deb and Shane.

Clean and tidy, beautiful surroundings and lovely friendly staff. Great pool and bbq/outdoor kitchen area. Excellent location close to tourist attractions, meals and beverages.

Definitely recommend Lionel and Debs park. Hang out in the pool chatting with them and Banjo. Walk to the bowlo for dinner if you don't use the awesomely set up camp kitchen at this park. Spacious and tidy cabins. Great place to stay.

Host's Lionel and Deb will make you feel so much at home, with happy hour in the camp kitchen ( byo) from 4 til whenever. and with so much to see and do there you need at the bare minimum 9 days. book early tho it is such a great place.

This was great for camping. Well set up camp kitchen even with a fridge. Shane the caretaker was fantastically helpful and friendly.
