Lotus Corner

My regular go to anywhere for breakfast/brunch is a ham n cheese croissant. Lotus Corner made me the most perfect ham n cheese croissant I've ever had. I'm a very happy gal.

Loved this cafe. The breakfast food was delicious. I ordered a soy latte and was given an iced one instead, which was quickly resolved by the attentive staff with bringing out a new coffee. This coffee was amazing, probably one of the best soy lattes I’ve ever had. Really great coffee and breakfast options with lots of indoor seating.

This was such a nice place to get breakfast. It felt luxe and everything had a high-end feel. The lighting, the interior design, even the kitchen staff were well presented. I loved the menu and it took me ages to decide. Everything looks so good. I wasn't disappointed with my choice though. The roast pumpkin and haloumi stack was excellent. I loved the sweetness from the onion jam. The pulled pork and potato rosti was also excellent. That crispy rosti was really the best part.

We came in for coffee and ended up having lunch. The prawn and watermelon salad was delicious and generous with 8 chargrilled prawns for $28. So happy to finally have value for money. My friend had the Thai fish cakes which were spicy and tasty. The attention from the staff was lovely even when it started to get busy. We will definitely be back. Oh and the coffee was good too.

Came in to Lotus last week and had a smiley girl called Brianna serve me! She was so warm and welcoming and made me feel like I was at home! Thank you for making my experience so warm, I will definitely be back with my hubby!

Loved our breakfasts at Lotus. Service was friendly and attentive and food is delish and good sized servings. We had the buttermilk pancakes and corn fritters - 3 times in a 5 day visit to Merewether! Yum!

We visited early (6.15am) on a Sunday morning. We felt like porridge and stumbled across it. The service from ‘The English waiter’ was exceptional. Very friendly and professional. We had our dog with us and we were going to eat outside but the waiter let us eat in a little annex at the entrance which was very kind and a great little spot. The dog got plenty of attention as people came in so he was happy. The porridge and the coffee were both great. We will definitely come back when we are next in Newcastle.

The best choc brownies I have ever eaten! Also perfect location not far from the beach and awesome atmosphere

Food was great. Coffee perfect. Would recommend for breakfast. Big breakfast is great.

What a lovely place to have breakfast. Difficult to find a place to park only drawback. Staff extremely competent and friendly. We will return.

Food was delicious. I had a soy cap and a golden latte and they there so smooth and delicious.

We had late breakfast and I ordered an Earth bowl which was so good & so filling. Gorgeously presented, friendly & timely service, I would recommend at least a visit here when you’re in the area!
