Celebrated a birthday and the service provided was outstanding. The food was fresh and delicious and the staff was very warm and welcoming. Very fast and efficient service and always with a smile

My family have eaten here often over the years. Today was different. I felt a friendlier vibe with the staff & the selections (from the lunch menu) were a plenty. It's nice to see generous size portioned meals & the sticky date pudding was incredible! I couldn't fault our meals or service today. Thank you!

A small table booking/ location glitch at the start was sorted in minutes. Seafood platter for 2 was generous, presentation ++ , cold portion was super fresh, and the hot component was perfectly cooked. Despite a wedding function and wait staff (some very new) that were under the pump, our experience was very very good.

Quality of food is fantastic.

Venue in a perfect location but for this time of year a little sparse on Christmas decorations.

Had a special 80th Birthday lunch for a very special lady. We were so impressed and pleasantly surprised with the food, the service, the presentation, value for money and with the personnel. Couldn’t fault anything at all. Would recommend it to one and all. Thankyou Chris for your attentiveness to our group. It was greatly appreciated.

I have been to this restaurant a number of times, and the food was sensational again. Unfortunately the service was a let down, left waiting for long periods for any type of service. Hopefully it was a once off as normally the service is good.

Service was more than expected, very polite, prompt, waiter Lauren who was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The food was amazing and delicious. We look forward to coming back.

This is what I look forward tooevery couple months with my husband it was as I expected tasted amazing . We drive down from Sydney , totally recommend if your a seafood lover .

We have been coming to this fine restaurant for well over 10 years, the seafood platter is fantastic, though you can detect changes now with inflation and so fourth. While I do not feel the portions of seafood have differed greatly and is still premium quality, there used to be fruit like watermelon and rock melon in the mix which not only felt like a bigger deal it added a feeling freshness after . Very small to argue about there though, but still added to the experience. The price has gone up considerably but that is only a sign of the times and certainly not in the control of the restaurant itself. So yes! Incredible choice for any given day.

Beautiful backdrop to eat deliciously fresh, perfectly prepared seafood for our sons graduation from UOW. Excellent service. Can’t wait for our next visit!

What a wonderful experience our visit to Lagoon turned out to be. We booked for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed the hot and cold seafood platter for 2. Yum, not a chip to be seen which is such a change it was all seafood and very well executed. The service was impeccable our waiter had a lovely manner and was totally engaged with his patrons.

We had an amazing day. The food was sensational and so was the service. Nothing was too much trouble for our waiter Fernando, always had a smile. Thank you Lagoon, we will definitely be back 👍👍

I Attended my Mum and Sisters bday here on Saturday lunch which was a truly memorable experience. The food and wine were amazing. Stunning fresh seafood platters which i loved immensely. Fernando our waiter was first class in every way. It was a great way to celebrate an 80th and 50th bday.

Had my wedding ceremony held just outside the venue and reception inside the restaurant. Food was very amazing and delicious. The staff are very lovely and did a great job of looking after everybody. I highly recommend

We recently celebrated 2 of my life ling friends 50th Birthdays. Thank you to the Lagoon Restaurant for making the celebration so special. The food was delicious and fresh and our waiter made the night so special with his outstanding service. He was great. It’s an amazing night.

DEGUSTATION UPDATE POST !! $59 STAIRWAY TO FOOD HEAVEN !

Just tried the most amazing degustation at the Lagoon ! 6 courses where each was better than the next. We also got the cheeky oyster you could add extra . Stand-out AMAZEBALLS CREATIONS = the bone marrow butter yumm, the snapper was soooo yummm I want to start fishing and the housemade vanilla parfait so divine willy wonka call for the recipe ...SCRUMPTIOUS!

And apparently there will be more menus they will change up .I'm definitely going to eat them all ..

Gorgeous Christmas day lunch - bugs were divine - choc tart AMAZING and ditto the Angus...just perfect on all fronts..including staff..10/10 would Christmas lunch again x

The food was incredible, I got the lamb shanks and it was so juicy and mouth watering. My partner got the Steak and Lobster and he said it was the best dinner he has had in a long time. The calamari was so delish for entrée. I will defiantly be back.
The cocktail jug was worth the money, this was such a positive experience.
