The female vet who assisted us with a dislocated baby bunny leg (which we were a referral from another vet)was amazing, informative gave us our options. She has has made follow up phone calls to check on little Raine. Great service.

A great visit! The waiting area is clean. The reception counter is easy to approach. There are adequate rooms available for the examinations to be conducted. You can be moved into one of those rooms in the event you are waiting to be seen and the need to avoid pet contact with other pets in the waiting area becomes an issue. The staff were professional, knowledgeable and easy to speak with. They showed compassion and a genuine sincerity towards our pet related circumstances. The health issues with our pets were addressed and the costs involved were reasonable. We will continue to seek their services in the future. Highly recommended!

Reception was absolutely lovely, Mike has so much experience with reptiles and was incredibly helpful and friendly, and pricing was more than reasonable. Couldn't be happier with the service, thankyou guys.

My 15 year old Staffy had a serious eye injury just prior to Christmas.
Not only did the girl at front desk go out of her way to get Ollie in, the vet we saw was brilliant.
As he could not help Ollie, he sent us to the right place.

Had an excellent experience with rehabilitation and surgery. Dr Kim Fryer went above and beyond the call of duty when it came to treating my dog. She also took human feelings into account. Kim is easy to get on with, knowledgeable and insightful. Alicia in rehab is warm, professional and always willing to help. The reception girls were efficient and helpful. Despite the stresses and difficulties Covid is causing my dog was always treated well. A big thank you.

Whenever my little Bearded Dragon Agatha isn’t feeling well I always take her to Cannon and Ball. They are super knowledgeable and friendly. It’s very difficult to find a clinic that can help with lizards and I’m so glad I found this one. Best around.
Plus, prices are very reasonable

Great Vet I highly recommend this practice. Always friendly reception and they do their best to help you quickly and efficiently. My Vet Kim is amazing. She remembers my cats even from my last visit which was years ago. Loving manner and great knowledge in all animals. She is a real animal person, gives me peace of mind that my animals are correctly looked after and I get the right information and advice :) might be a little pricey but with such good service I don't mind the fee's. Especially when it comes to the health of my animals which I wont put a price on.
Also when i had an emergency late one Saturday night, the after hours service was excellent in helping me with my cat who had had some sort of fit. They returned my call within a couple mins and were very compassionate and understanding with great advice.

Highly recommend. I had to have my rat put down on a Sunday the vet was amazing during the upsetting time and within a week later we received a detailed personal condolence card in the mail which was much appreciated (when i did animal studies we were told any great vet would yet these amazing guys are the first). My cat had also nearly been on his death bed i had to take him in after hours he was in there all week was touch and go but they were amazing the whole time and welcomed me on my daily visits to see him he is healthy & well now.

One of my cats passed last year while I was in Europe and my partner ran to this vets, unfortunately she passed away before he got there - however they held the body for him for a week for free and sent us a beautiful card saying sorry she passed.
I took my other cat there for an infection he picked up and they were so kind and let me visit everyday and handled him very well!
My old boy passed away recently we had him put down due to a major stroke and the vets came to the house and gave him the needle and he passed away peacefully in my arms and I can't thank this vet enough for how kind their staff are and their genuine love for animals! We also received a card for his passing.

Professional, caring and informative. They have looked after all of our pets and the vets know their stuff. Recently had an issue with our cat which was dealt with quickly and had a full recovery. Didn't cost that much despite the fact these people are medical professionals. Highly recommended!

I love Cannon & Ball vets. Everyone is so caring and gentle with your pets. They have kept my little dog, with a serious heart condition going for several years. Definitely recommend.

Possibly the best vet in the Illawarra especially if you have a ‘exotic pet’. Being a rabbit and bird owner we have relied on their expertise numerous times and had fast and professional service. All staff are friendly and compassionate. When we have had to admit our babies unfortunately into the hospital they have kept us updated on their progress and communicated well the treatment plan. So thankful to have them local. Having been to other vets in the past I would not trust anyone’s else with my pets. This clinic truely is a specialist in small animals and exotics!

After hours is always when the bad stuff happens right? I wasnt sure what to do so i gave their after hours service a call. They were able to give me advice and things to look for in my puppy to ensure she was okay. Thanks team for the assistance and thank you for having the service available.

My beautiful Galah Vovo fell ill recently & straight away I brought her to cannon and ball. Michael is a wonderful man very experienced in avian practice & his whole team cares about your animals health a lot. Everyone at cannon and ball were a pleasant reassurance during this stressful time & were happy to update me on her hospital stay at any time! Definitely the best avian care in the Illawarra!

Fantastic compassionate care! We wouldn't take our family to anyone else. They have been with us through some great times, not so great times, and absolutely horrible times. So grateful for their knowledge and support!
