Hemingway Cafe and Bar

Such a great cafe, the staff is so nice, affogato is tasty, and the burger is excellent. Having a lot a trees around is also a plus in my book.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars because no one is more deserving of it than the staff at Hemingway. I got some donuts, a cuban bowl and an acai bowl today. All I can say is I will be back for more. Thank you so much for the great food and excellent service

The service and communication is great! We loved our grazin doughnut box, as it was delicious, fresh and done with love. Their drinks were delicious too and you can tell they value their costumers ❤❤ so thank you so much for making my daughters 4th birthday a very special one ❤

I attended an event that had ordered catering from this cafe, not only did every thing look amazing, it tasted sooooo good. The donuts are to die for, the burgers were delicious, I can not fault the food is was just too good ! The owners are so lovely, definitely recommend this cafe!

Hemingway's is easily the best cafe at the University of Wollongong, and surely also one of the best cafes I've ever been to. All of the staff are so lovely, the coffee absolutely top notch, and I have never ordered any food that is anything but wonderful. Some must-tries include the burgers, the schnitzels, the cuban bowls, and the smoothies. It's also a tremendously beautiful space; well-furnished with lots of light!

Before coming across to UoW I studied and worked for more than a decade at USYD, and despite the plethora of options I never found a cafe, on or off campus, that was anywhere near as quality, welcoming, and pleasant as Hemingway's.

The food was very yummy. The pear salad was delish and refreshing. I also had a mixed fresh juice which was great. Staff very friendly and a beautiful relaxing spot.

19Dec2019, ~9:45am. They bring you your drink to your table. They were friendly and also wished us good bye with a smile as we left. I had probably my very first flat white. It was good, comparable to any good cappuccino. They managed a very artistic shape in the foam. I regret not taking a photo! They apparently also make very good healthy smoothies, just the thing for that hangover. ;)

The staff are so friendly and helpful, and the donuts, cooked fresh on the premises daily, are next- level! Enjoy sitting in the spacious deck under the trees on a nice day

Best coffee, food, and friendliest staff! Hemingway has been a lighthouse during the pandemic in particular. Always so friendly and with the best donuts you could ask for.

During lockdown, Hemingway have delivered affordable ready-to-eat meals and also delivered a box of delicious donuts, packaged beautifully and decorated with fruit!! Very happy with the easy ordering process and service!

Love the Cuban bowl with mojo salmon and the banana chocolate bread toasted is soooo yummy 😋
