So nice to shop at a supermarket that isn't part of a megachain. Personal service where they will take your groceries to your car. The creaky timber floors and ad free music. Great fresh vegetables and deli.

Consistently pleasant shopping with very friendly staff. Well run, keep up the good work. The locals really do appreciate you guys.

The fruit and veg and deli are exceptional. Fresh beautiful produce consistently year round. I live locally and always walk out with more than I intended because the quality is great. Friendly, helpful staff that always make you feel welcome. Jenny, Janine, Shirley, Narelle and Monica always give great service. The best supermarket in the Clarence hands down.

Friendly staff excellent service. Staff always welcome you with a smile and make you feel like family. They really take the time to make your shopping trip fun. I have shopped at spar for many years and will continue to do so. Bob and Judy have done and I sure will continue to do an excellent job at serving their community as they always have.

Best roast chooks and a total bargain plus they sweetest funniest down home staff. Employ lots of local kids.

I had to get a birthday cake to my inlaws in aged care at Maclean, im based in Brisbane. The local bakery weren’t able to help, but a call to these guys and they were able to supply a nice choc mud cake and deliver it as well.

Great old school supermarket with the most friendly service and always keen to give you a hand. Love seeing them carry bags for the local elderly. Haven't seen that anywhere else in Australia.

Stores well stocked incl. Pre packaged sandwichs which makes a good alternative to the hwy franchises. Toilets and a park next to the Clarence River makes Macleay a good stopover whilst travelling on the Pacific Hwy.

Wonderful work ethic. Friendly staff and much of the produce is sourced locally. Always good specials found at the deli. Fast checkout even on busy days. Maclean SPAR has given thousands of dollars to charities over the few years I have lived in this beautiful town. Definitely my choice of store to shop.

Great friendly service and always stocked with whatever you need as trucks deliver all the time. If you really need a certain item you can almost guarantee spar has it. In recent times more hot food available at deli also which is a good plus.

I love going to spar. There is a young girl serving in the deli I'm not sure what her name is but she is blonde and the nicest person i have been served by anywhere. She always has the biggest smile and wishes her customers a great day. It's always nice to be more than a number. Spar is always a great place to go even though i have singled the young girl out all Bob's staff are lovely and nothing is to much trouble. Shop local, you rip the rewards
