Great food with a view of the ocean. Had the ribs, porterhouse, Angus burger and a kids nuggets. Everyone was happy with their meal, but the chips were so good we wished there were more. Especially recommend the slow cooked beef short ribs.

Great selection of beer, wines and spirits on offer. It can get busy, so best to book, especially if it’s over the weekend, as your groups can fill it up fast.

Had dinner for two on New Year’s Eve and it was divine! The wait staff were so professional and kind which made the atmosphere lovely. We ordered the cheesy garlic bread, beef ribs and chicken parmigiana. Could not fault any of it! The garlic bread was soft but crunchy, the parmigiana was delicious and the beef ribs were tasty and pulled apart super easily. The serving sizes were also on the generous side. Would definitely come here again!

Zone restaurant was one of the better pub restaurants I have went to. They had a very succinct menu where it was what the chefs can cook best rather than throw everything in the book and hope it sticks.

Had the beef schnitzel, chicken ceasar salas burger and they were spot on with the taste, sauce and portion sizes!

I had an exceptional experience at Zone Restaurant & Bar, so much so that my partner and I dined there twice during our 4-day trip to Kangaroo Island. The dinner was exquisite, set against the backdrop of the beautiful seaside scenery. Every dish was executed flawlessly, with the Beef Ribs standing out as particularly memorable.

The staff at the restaurant were incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional. They went out of their way to accommodate us, especially considering we had a baby stroller with us. They were proactive in finding us a suitable seating arrangement and checked in with us after the meal to ensure we were satisfied with our dining experience.

I highly recommend Zone Restaurant & Bar to anyone visiting Kangaroo Island. The combination of outstanding food, picturesque setting, and exceptional service makes it a must-visit. We certainly plan to dine here again on our future visits.

I don't understand why the reviews are so low, I had a great experience here. Loved the food, loved the service and had a great time. The size of the meal was great too. Nothing to complain about. I was also very grateful to find something open that offered great quality food. I came twice during my 3 day stay. Highly recommend.

We stayed in the hotel and dined in Zone restaurant for dinner. The food was very good. My husband and I travelled different places and countries and worked in luxury hotel abroad thus we love food. All of us 4 enjoyed our dinner. Highly recommended to visit the restaurant while in KI. The view was beautiful overlooking the sea. Ordered cocktail and it's also good. Had this cocktail in different places and even home made. The staff also accommodating and friendly.

Staying at the Aurora and doing a night tour we decided to make a reservation at the restaurant. Will say we were beyond pleased with the service, food and experience. For our anniversary the floor manager gave us some complementary martinis that they had for social media photos. Food was fantastic, carbonara pasta special was creamy and delicious. Would recommend making a booking in advance as the restaurant was booked out for most of the evening.

First off, Julian our waiter. Amazingly attentive and all around a good laugh. He made the night even better along side the amazing food! Can’t say much more!

Very friendly staff and very accommodating even though we were not guests at the hotel nor had a booking (unlike other restaurants we went to). Was craving fish and chips and it was delivered. Crumbed and cooked to perfection and the chips were AMAZING!!!

Lovely food with a great view. Requesting a window seat when booking doesn't seem to help much, unfortunately, but the water is easily seen from most tables. Friendly and helpful staff.

Louise is Amazing, even tough this place is super busy she manages to serve each and every one great service, food is amazing feels chef put his heart out!!

Amazing meals cooked to perfection so we just had to go back for dessert and weren’t disappointed. Tried some local wines which were top notch. Off to the wineries tomorrow for sure!!
