Golden Guitar Motor Inn

Five star because the air conditioning actually worked perfectly! Wonderful. Room was clean and comfortable. Dinner at the hotel next door was so easy and food excellent.

The Golden Guitar Motor Inn in Tamworth is a big favourite with welcome drink on arrival, great customer service by Bec, quality spacious rooms, and excellent location next door to The Longyard Hotel, Maccas and BP Service Station.

Very clean rooms and comfy bed. Very handy to the pub right next door. Breakfast was very good too.

One of the cleanest, most comfortable Motels around. Lovely Staff all with a complimentary cold beer, wine or soft drink upon arrival. Such a welcome after a long drive!

What a great place! Staff were really friendly and very accommodating. Beautiful clean rooms, super comfortable bed, awesome shower. Beautiful breakfast delivered to your room, couldn’t ask for more. Thankyou so much for your fabulous hospitality, we will definitely be back.

We stayed here for the Tamworth Music Festival and could not have been happier with our room.
Upstairs with a balcony, it was large with lots of storage etc. Very comfortable and so clean.
We loved the location next door to the Longyard Hotel, whilst noisy we loved that we were so close to so much music and entertainment. Great meals too.
Bec and Anthony very friendly and happy to accomodate if you required anything, which we didn’t.
We loved our stay here.

And of course next door to the Golden Guitar.
We were welcomed so nicely and had a complementary beverage offered.

We stayed here last week and couldn’t be happier. Bec and Anthony couldn’t have been more welcoming. The motel was very clean and well maintained. Was lovely to stay somewhere that was so welcoming.

Clean, comfortable, friendly. Free drinks on arrival. Friendly staff. Hotel next door gave us cutlery to take back to our room with our takeaway which was useful. Yummy food . Great place to stay.

While in Tamworth for a family function, we rang last minute to book a room. Our call was answered by a welcoming helpful voice and when we arrived the next day there was a friendly smile to match. We were welcomed with a complimentary drink and our room had all the facillities needed for a comfortable stay!!. The bed was "oh so" cosy and the shower "OMG" the best ever!!!!!. For a great meal The Long Yard Hotel is right next door and meals etc can be charged to your room. Hospitality is Spot On 🤗

Had been travelling all day with family and looked up motels to stay at Tamworth for the night . Wife googled motels in Tamworth and decided on The Golden Guitar . Well the husband and wife team made us very welcome and ensured that we had all of our needs . The rooms were very clean , modern furniture , very cosy beds , woke up next morning refreshed with a very generous tasty breakfast to get us going for travel home . Thanks very much for your hospitality . Very highly recommended professional old time hospitality and care .

Wonderful beds, nice and clean. Hosts very helpful. Only one problem and its not their fault. After driving all day, the noise from pub band next door was too loud, though it did stop around 10pm. Who thought to built a pub next to a motel. Stupid decision by local council

We were traveling through the town and after a long day, the staff were so friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms clean.

Would definitely stay here again without a doubt.

Stayed for business as it was closest to site. Owners were very friendly, pub grub next door was fantastic, rooms were clean, couldn't ask for anything more.

Top regional hotel. Clean, great staff, a welcome gift on arrival, no fuss. The pub next door is handy and a nice place for dinner - this is my go to joint in Tamworth :)

A fantastic place to stay. Clean and tidy, friendly greeting, and good parking. Close to attractions, and not far from the CBD. A must try.
