Almost as good as the free native animal park in Newcastle (can't remember the name), but definitely well worth the visit.

Great free attraction in Tamworth. The animals are good to see but the adventure park is what you would stay for. Definitely worth the visit. We stayed for almost 2 hours.

This place was absolutely amazing, and completely free! The animals looked very well looked after, and you could see kangaroos, emus, peacocks and a wide array of different birds. We arrived early and the park was almost empty and there was lots to see and explore. There's several walks and many enclosures and you could easily spend several hours here. The children's playground was amazing too and definitely worth a visit!

A great spot to visit if you enjoy nature and wildlife. Entry is free, you’ll come across kangaroos, emus, peacocks, and more, plus many birds – especially in the giant walk-in aviary. There’s seats and tables where you can sit and enjoy the sights and sounds, and several walking trails. Although the park isn’t completely wheel chair accessible, it’s still possible to see quite a few areas (for some of them, like the kangaroo habitat and the bird aviary, there are heavy doors which might need assistance to open).

Fun for the kids. Lots of picnic areas. Playground is great. Not as many animals as had hoped. The cockatoos and galas were amazing! So friendly and chatty!

It's my first time to go there and I enjoyed it so much , so many animals that you will enjoy watching and you can also play to a cockatoo birds. Im so amaze because they can talk hahaha there's no like that in my country so I really enjoyed it. Its a good place where all you'll hear are the sounds of different animals in there 😊

Thank you Tamworth for making this place exist and free entry ☺☺. There's no one standing at front gate, so you can open the gate by yourself as if your home (it's locked at 4.30pm, so please open the gate before that time 😌)
You can find Wallabies, Wallaroo, Emu, Cockatoos, Corella, etc. and please find the cute talking corella.
Couldn't find Wombat or Peacock but that's okay.
So happy to visit this place and I hope all the animals here happy as well 🥲

This was a highlight of our Tamworth visit. It's tucked in the bush only a few minutes drive out of town. If you have small kids, they'd love the playground. You can also pat and feed some of the native Australian animals, like kangaroos and emus.

I believe there were more birds on display! Still loved the walk in aviary and other bird enclosures with very talkative birds.

Wonderful free park with birds, kangaroos roaming free. Playground, toilet, picnic tables and areas spread throughout. Large aviary in the middle to enter and sit and enjoy. Well done to Tamworth to make such a facility available to enjoy for free.

Lots to see and do. Native animals and a great kids play area. Toilets are a bit old and not many flat areas but was ok with a walker if you take it slow.
