Dr Shonda was so helpful. I had left all my medications in Perth and she assisted me work out what I needed and prescribed. She was warm and reassuring- which was great as I was very stressed to find I had left my medication at home. Her receptionist was very good; attentive and warm.
The surgery was in a lovely building, in a convenient location. I would highly recommend this practise.

The clinic was very busy, but I felt that the staff really cared about patients' wellbeing. Dr Lynette is amazing, welcoming, warm and reassuring. She showed great professionalism and took the right amount of time - enough for me to feel listened to, but not too long to drag the appointment time. I would definitely come again.

I had the distinct privilege of having an appointment with Dr Yap today.
I have been searching for an extremely knowledgeable, caring doctor who has as paramount the care of his patients and whose mission is to provide optimal health not just cure symptoms.
In Dr Yap I finally found such a doctor.
A calming , kind person with an obvious and in-depth possession of the art and science of medicine.

Based on all my experience with GP's, I usually find myself waiting even after making a booking. However, exceptional aspects about this City Medical Practice is that I never have to wait. Specially, Dr.Hong Cheong's consultations start on time, and I've never ever waited more than one minute in the last 5-6 years time. That's why I always choose to visit this center, even though it's far from my residence. After one visit, the follow-up consultation is available over the phone, which saves a lot of time as well.

If you are ever in Sydney and in need of a GP. Ask for Dr Lynette Skardoon. Everyone was exceptionally nice and competent even with our smallest child.

I received a prompt and thorough examination and was referred to the hospital for further tests. The nurse who did the ECG was comforting and helpful.
The Young man at reception was kind and obliging and organised transport to the Hospital.
They made an unpleasant experience as comfortable as possible.

Nice place and helpful staff. The doctor is so kind. I’d like to visit here again if needed(hopefully not).

We had a very good experience at this clinic. It helped that it was right next door to our hotel so was very convenient. We went in at 10 a.m. and got an appointment for 12:30 p.m. Our wait time was half an hour and the rest went smoothly.

Very surprised at the low rating. Always been good for the last 5 years since I moved to Sydney. Always am able to get in usually the next day if not the day after as well as to the preferred dr. They have on site nurse to take bloods ect. Not sure why all the neg but it’s pretty decent. Some people just spoiled I’d say. Generally go to dr cheong as my main guy.

The staff at City Medical Centre have been very caring and have looked after my health for the 5 or so years I have been with them. I like the fact that the practice is located inside an old church and the waiting area is comfortable. Special call out to Dr Yap, Patricia (nurse), Dr Heong Cheong and Dr Hori (now retired). I hope the centre will be around for many years to come :)

First class in terms of efficiency, but also kindness. Amazing to have a bulk-biller on the heart of the Sydney CBD. Impressed at all the data processing my doctor achieved while she seemed to be just having a friendly chat. Most highly recommended. Don't know how your scale works, but tops!

I've been a patient with the practice for the past 4 years. Despite what other reviews have said, I've have nothing bad to report. Waiting times have been okay (I try to choose the times least busy), doctors are friendly and take their time to explain the situation, nurses are highly experienced and reception staff are attentive and still try to put on a smile despite having to deal with some difficult patients.

The doctor and staff were wonderful. We were travelling from interstate and felt well looked after.

Dr H Cheong was the best GP I have ever been too. He took time to clearly explain where he thought my symptoms were coming from, and why he was recommending one treatment course over another. Usually I'm just rushed out with a prescription at other practices, so I really appreciated this level of care.

I have been a patient at City Medical Practice for many years and can highly recommend them. The doctors are all very professional and competent. I really appreciate their expert advice and support. The nursing staff are caring and they do their job very efficiently. The laboratory services are excellent. The office staff are helpful, obliging and very polite. They are at the front line of a very busy practice and they cope with the demands of this extremely well. I can only praise every aspect of City Medical Practice.
