Abalina Cottages

We just enjoyed a 3 night stay in house #2 Cherry Lane- 2 adults and 2 kids. The house was incredibly clean, and had every creature comfort you’d want in a home away from home. Well appointed with everything to make our stay fantastic, even some books for young and old to read. The house is positioned a super short walk from the main water play area by the river, mini golf/skate park/restaurants. Even our kids didn’t grumble with how short the walk was! Excellent positioning close to many things.

Each of the 3 bedrooms were spacious and would be perfect for a large family (up to 6). Comfy beds with lots of pillows and cushions. Ceiling fans in each room and aircon in living area for warm days and lots of extra blankets, fireplace and heated flooring in bathrooms for those enjoying their stay in the winter months.

The main bathroom had a decent size bath with jets which the kids loved! The kitchen was fabulous and easy to utilise, as was the laundry. Outside, next to the 4-6 person setup there was an electric BBQ which was easy to use and provided us a lovely meal.

Each room had blockout blinds which are great especially if you’re napping a baby/toddler. Bathrooms have grab rails beside both the toilet and in the shower for anyone with mobility challenges. The front entrance does have a low step/threshold so a wheelchair may need help getting up. Ditto with the internal garage entrance. Something to keep in mind if someone has such needs.

It really was the perfect family accomodation; it was such a comfortable and homely stay. We were very happy indeed.

Just spent a few days with family at Abalina Cottages- could not fault a thing. Beautiful cottage- rooms and bathrooms. Kitchen was stocked with all the extras you forget to pack. Lovely hosts Bernie and Cameron- made our stay 5 star- thanks so much- definitely coming back

Outstanding place to stay. We spent three nights three children and we had everything we needed, including two highchairs and two porta cots. Host was responsive to all our communications and made sure our stay was easy. Strongly recommend.

Beautifully ran cottages that are clean and homely. Close to the centre of town and I can only recommend Bernadette and Cameron when staying in Bright. 5 stars!

Abalina cottage is truly wonderful..So cosy and comfortable..Clean and organized..🌅all the little extra things available from spices to honey to detergents to fire wood leave fond memories of this place ..⛅Will definitely be back again and highly recommend..❄

walking distance to town, comfy beds, kitchen supplied with spices, pans etc. and could log into Netflix on the TV, everything you could need if you ask me!

Simply the best place to stay in Bright for families!

Beautiful new spacious place to stay. So close to main street and brewery. Perfect size room for my 2 kids to stay in. Beautifully styled home with alot of extras. We will definitely be coming back. Thankyou for our wonderful stay
