What a gem of a place!! Best kids playground ever! So yummmm food and generous portions! Great kids meal deal with drink&ice cream included! Friendly, customer orientated service, lovely atmosphere, plenty parking, clean toilets. We will be DEFINATELY back!!

Absolutely fabulous. Food was great, service great, all different rooms to hang in, huge outdoor area perfect for young families. Glad we stopped in after our son's footy match 👍

Great place to eat, with a lovely atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious! They have an awesome lunchtime menu to choose from with an unbeatable price, $14!!! How reasonable is that!!!
The workers are always walking around asking you if everything is to your liking, so that was a nice surprise.
I would definitely recommend it, and I will be coming back, for sure.
I had the Moroccan lamb shanks, and they were soooo delicious!!! My friends had salt and pepper squid, which looked just as appealing as mine. They told me it was beautiful and I could tell they enjoyed their meal as much as I did.

Absolutely loved this place. The staff were all amazing and the food was just mouthwatering.

Cannot fault this venue, great food with a great atmosphere as soon as you walk through the doors, with a massive kids area outside so parents can relax while the kids tire themselves out. If you like big burgers then give their new triple bypass burg a go, it's got Three House Made Beef Patties, Triple Bacon, Triple Cheese, Onion, BBQ Sauce & Aioli served between Potato Scallops. 10/10 👌

Its what a pub should be. Great vibe, plenty of drinks on offer ie beer, spirits etc It has a very decent menu with plenty of options. I have eaten here for the last two nights and can not complain. They also have a kids playground which is above what any kid would want. It also has a gaming room big kiddies....slap slap and not to forget the big screens for sporting event.... plus ample parking.

The special Veal Scalopini was brilliant. It drew a crown too with a few other patrons asking what it was. Think it deserves a more permanent spot on the menu

Pork belly, mash, broccolini and plum sauce. Best crackling ever, generous, delicious, decent size meal. Raffles for meat trays, giant kids play ground, nice ambience, friendly courteous staff and a courtesy bus.

I was very impressed with the atmosphere of this place, i went for a work lunch/meeting, and the staff were fantastic and friendly. The food was in my top 10 of best snittys ive had, very well done to the kitchen saff, and the wait staff were all over there jobs. Didnt have that "pub smell" of beer soaked carpet. Was busy at lunch, but with the $14 lunch special i can see why. Well done everyone👏 ✔

First visit here for my wife and I today and we will be back.
We both ate the prawn and chorizo pasta and absolutely loved it. Perfect amount and tasted amazing.

Awesome service topped off with beautiful food. There were 10 of us for lunch and not one complaint on meals. The hotel was packed & the timing of food coming out was still great! Highly recommend 👌

Updated! We came back again with a large group as it was central to all of us. And after this experience, I thought I'd update my previous review.

Today was busy again. They must be always busy, and it's good to know they can handle it. However this time, the food was fantastic. There were so many of us, that we must have had almost the whole menu.

Every meal was cooked to perfection and was outstanding. Nice and fresh, very tasty and the portion sizes were extremely generous!

We are looking forward to our next visit now and hope this level of perfection keeps up!

Old review

Went with 7 of us for lunch. It was a busy day for them, and they said there was a wait. Which there was, but we were OK with that. At least they told us.

But the food was really ordinary. I had a mixed grill and only ate a bit of it. The steak was a like a boot. The chop was shrunken and tasteless, the gravy was strange. But the bacon and chips were good.

Other meals were equally as unimpressive. Which is a shame. We frequent the area so will try again. Maybe it was an off day.

Food was very well presented and prepared, asked for rare and received medium rare, easy and common mistake. Besides that, everything was spot on and done so, so wonderfully.
Staff are very friendly and helpful, very approachable and knowledge about menu, venue and everything I asked.

During the school holiday, we were lucky to find decent places to eat around Hunter Valley without booking it in advance. This place was packed, but we found parking and a nice table for 4 people. The food was amazing, and the waiting time was less than 30 minutes (on busy Friday night ). Large kids' meals can make you feel too full. Free soft drink and ice cream included. Life music, kids' corner, and special game packs are $2 only. Definitely recommend this place for perfect dinner with children.

Good place for a feed although service was slow.

Make sure you book if you want to eat at a table. It's very popular.
