Thank you for the awesome service and delicious food. Really enjoyed it here. The pork belly bites were so nice and crispy. Didn’t get a pic unfortunately they were too delicious lol 😂 but all the other food we had was perfect. The bathrooms and overall restaurant was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Visited The Whistler Maitland whilst in the area on Saturday afternoon. Opening hours made it convenient for a late lunch / early dinner as we arrived just shy of 5pm. We tried the pork bites as a starter and had the beef and chicken burgers which were both delicious. Prices were fairly reasonable. Burgers around $22-$23 and the pork bites for around $20. Plenty of options to choose from on the menu also. Service was friendly, atmosphere was relaxed and the venue was clean and well presented. Plenty of street parking available from right in front to a short walk away.

Delicious! Knowledgeable about gluten free and coeliac options. Chips are cooked in their own fryer!

Hands down best place in the Hunter region for breakfast! Their cold brew coffee and açai bowls are absolutely spot on!!!
First choice for us if we are ever looking for somewhere nice for breakfast and they even have an event room!
Atmosphere is perfect!!

Great food, friendly staff and a great variety of beers on tap (a few stouts for good measure too!). It's a hard choice between the breakfast and lunch menu given the amount of yummy items on both. The burgers are always a winner. The Whistler has a nice atmosphere, great for groups.

My husband and I had our Wedding reception there on Sunday 6th August 2023. We set up the night before and have to give a HUGE thanks to Angus. Angus was an absolute professional and amazing at helping us finalise our food, drinks, answering questions, helping us to set up and was such an amazing help when we arrived for our reception. Angus was so kind, friendly and nothing was too much for him! His 2IC, Damon was just as friendly and helpful! These 2 are an amazing team and we can’t thank them enough for all the trouble they went to, ensuring that our afternoon/night ran smoothly! Thank you both for all your hard work and dedication, looking forward to seeing you both when we’re in next!

Best steak ive ever had, amazing beer selection, staff were all lovely, chef came to check on us. Atmosphere is lovely, family friendly, Highly recommend going here for a beer and a beautiful meal, do yourself a favour and get in there

Great food at what seemed to feature only drinks! And reasonably fast too! After the pizza, wings, dumplings and Arancini,
I want to come back and the rest of their menu!

I haven't even left my table yet and I feel obliged to give a 5 star.
The service: explained well the expectations of their ordering procedure during COVID. It was polite and still assertive, which I liked as it showed an interest in following the rules.

The decor: Amazing. So warming and homely inside. I can imagine it being incredible any time of day.

The coffee: wow. I grabbed a mocha and felt like adding some hazelnut to get closer to a Nutella feel. It was delicious. Delicious.

The burger: dang. Such great quality, even more surprising was the price. $13 for this bad girl. The bacon was plentiful, the cheese perfectly melted into the top of the bun, the egg was not rubbery and still a little runny. A mixed herb olive oil made it delightful.

Terrific.

Great food, I got the chicken and was cooked beautifully although chips could of used 30 seconds longer.
Cocktail list is fantastic and I enjoyed some well made cosmopolitans.

Went for coffee. Got the coffee. Liked the coffee. Simple. $5.5 for long. 3 shots. Price is good compared to others. 👍

Counter staff were friendly and happy to chat to me while ringing up my order. I was able to order ahead over the phone and food and coffee were both freshly prepared. Smashed avo was good value and coffee was tasty and unburnt. Will be back

Grwat venue to have dinner.
We celebrated a family birthday and took advantage of the catering options available to larger parties. The food was plentiful and tasty. Everyone enjoyed the atmosphere.
Management were easy to talk with and the entire party was organised over the phone, with payment made on the night. The bar had a great selection of beer on tap, with cocktails being a big favorite.

I would recommend this venue for a nice night out for two or a bigger group, with a private function room set up for parties over 35.

Great menu for omnivores and vegetarians. Range of beers on tap. Midpriced night out. Great bar staff and great food service staff.

Yeah it's a great spot for a chat. Service and atmosphere was top tier. I've tried the food before and it's pretty damn good. Absolutely recommend this place
