Beautiful place. I'd definitely recommend. I had a savory muffin and cappuccino and loved it. It was my first time to the island and I asked what was in the area. The lady who served me was so lovely. Thank you for a great experience ❤ x

Had a great breakfast experience at The Blue Room Cafe today. Lovely food, tasted very natural and homemade in the best way. Great, friendly service. Fantastic view. The only minor point would be a limited food availability on the menu, I'm sure this would be expanded by lunch time. Reasonably priced. Definitely will come back, great lil spot on Point Lookout, definitely the best cafe around.

We love The Blue Room. It’s always our first stop whenever we visit the island. The best view for a quick bite to eat & a drink (especially during whale season). The toastie, croissants & egg bacon rolls are all great and you cannot beat their berry brownie! My absolute favourite.

Can't get too much better location-wise! If you can't get a seat in the cafe to look out at the ocean then you just need to wander across the road and find a patch of turf. I couldn't see a food menu so reluctantly ordered a savoury muffin but was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. Tasty and not dry like I had anticipated. I was super excited to see pecan slice back in the fridge cabinet! I'm not sure it's the same recipe as in times gone by, but it was still yummy. The cappuccino was excellent and the staff were friendly and accurate with the time estimate they gave without prompting.

Saturday arvo on the island and time for lunch! Driving past and saw this place. Turned around and found an easy park next door. Wandered in during the last hour of trade for the day. Food available from the display cabinet only, by no means a disadvantage. The selection was right up our alley! Went halves in the Vegetable Lasagne and Vegetable Frittata with my wife. Not the Pecan Tart though… all mine!! The staff were attentive and friendly. Although they forgot to bring out our side salad, which was just as well because we got it to go, as we were so full from the food and beverages. With ambient tunes, great vibe and the most amazing views, this place is a must visit. A nod to the dirty chai too, it was spot on ☺

Best breakfast & lunch place on the island. We sat down at another restaurant but couldn’t figure out what to order so came here to check out their menu. It’s so much healthier and more creative. Very nice pacific island decoration, facing the blue ocean. Staff is friendly and down to earth. Food is colourful, loaded with healthy ingredients, tasty with interesting twist. Cakes are big but don’t look as good as the food, but I didn’t have any so can’t judge on the taste. Highly recommended, if you are after something different on straddie.

Perfectly perched with outstanding views to watch winter whales cruise in past. This gorgeous eatery is full of in house home made healthy choice cooking. It is delicately displayed in hand crafted Bowles and flowers grown in the premises. Sit relax and let the ocean entertain you xxx

The Blue Room is right at the centre of Point Lookout and always very popular. The food are very tasty. We ordered a fruit pancake, nasi goreng (fried rice) and a green papaya salad. The kids favourite is easily the nasi goreng, with just the right amount of spice that even kids can enjoy them. Friendly staffs make it a great place to visit.

We had a lunch there, great food and beautiful view. The decor is just prefect. Staff are very friendly. I would recommend the burger there. If you are going to Gorge Walk, this is one of your must have. :)

This place has a beautiful aesthetic. It fits extremely well with the clean eating, organic and healthy restaurant vibe. However, there are also either sweet or savory pancakes as an option if you desire to treat yourself. There are a wide variety of options and a nice build your own breakfast. It is a little pricey for brunch but not too expensive for the island. There is a beautiful view of the ocean as well. The staff is extremely approachable and friendly and are very knowledgeable about the cuisine.

Excellent environment. We had just drinks. My cappuccino was really good, my wife loved her "go go green" juice and my mother in law felt the same about her pina colada. Very good presentation and the cherry on the top were the paper straws! <3 <3

Cute coffee shop with loads of yummy healthy meals and snacks. Many vegan and vegetarian options. Things like Chia puddings, slices. Coffee was pretty good, nice service too. Connected to a whole food shop with great variety 😊

First time having Dutch Baby pancake and oh boy, why didn't I discover this sooner. Is it pricey? Yes, but so is everything else on the island; being so remote. Great view to the ocean, great atmosphere, great pancakes, really can't complain.

Great light meals and fantastic atmosphere. It's Straddie, what's not to like!
