The Barn Cafe

The food was delicious. Lots of options including vegan. Coffee was hot and delicious as was the chai latte on soy. We had vegan breakfast roll, straddie eggs, BLT and steak, cheese and bacon pie. All were delicious and good value. Atmosphere is beautifully calm and relaxing. Dog friendly too. Highly recommend.

Atmosphere is beautiful, such a cute little shop. Delicious food that came out quick. Great service as well. I highly recommend to anyone near by as your number 1 coffee shop! And the have a cute fish

Visited the Barn Cafe yesterday, what a groovy little place. Coffees were great, had a home made mushroom pie 🥧 to die for delicious. And a chunky toasty, staff very friendly and has an ambience about it. Definite place to visit.

Excellent coffee and service. Breakfast menu with a good variety and great outdoor area seating.

The most wonderful customer service from all the staff! The food and drinks have so much love and care put into them. And one of the few places on the island with DELICIOUS vegan options. Highly recommend.

Great place. The roast vegetables tart was just right and also had some of my friends' chips which were crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle. Yumm

From start to finish, this cafe was top notch. From being dog friendly and offering water to our doggos, to indulging my odd coffee request and the speed in which our coffee and meals got to our table - everything was on point. Great coffee and yummy food topped off with friendly, efficient service? Thank you so much for giving us a fantastic visit. We will be back!!

Wow, what an amazing place. Great food and coffee and extremely friendly staff. Unbelievable views from their front deck. If there are no tables, just walk to the park over the road and enjoy the view with a takeaway. If you arrive early enough in the morning there is a good chance you will see Kangaroos.

As frequent Straddie visitors, I have no idea how we’ve missed this place until recently! This is now our go-to when we’re cruising around on the jet ski. We anchor up at the little beach next to the ferry ramp at Dunwich and stroll through the park to grab coffee, frittata and pastries. Without a doubt the best coffee on the island, and the freshest, tastiest takeaway with plenty of healthy options. They also have a great selection of eco-friendly supplies like bamboo toilet paper, pure zinc sunscreen in metal tins, reusable cups etc. Friendly staff, beautiful outdoor area, my new favourite!

I have been to the Barn Cafe a few times now and each time it has been great. Staff are lovely and food has been delicious. Highly recommend!

Popped in here for a quick takeaway and was very impressed! Delicious homemade food (you have to try the banana bread!), really cosy atmosphere and the staff are gorgeous! 😊 definitely coming back next time we are on the island!

I've eaten here a number of times & loved everything 😁 The home made Lamb & Rosemary pie & hamburger in particular are to die for! The service & the atmosphere have both been friendly & welcoming every time. The staff make an effort to remember names & favourite items 😊

It’s one of my first stop and last stop when I regularly visit stradbroke! Always friendly positive staff that you can have a chat with when busy or sleepy! Great coffee’s delicious salads and sweets with fantastic gluten-free selection!
