Foodworks

This place is the main go to when you run out of food, fresh produce or anything you may need from a convenience store. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the have daily specials that make your grocery shopping affordable on holidays!

You can buy anything you need at reasonable prices. I was staying at Allure Resort that had a kitchen and sometimes bought ingredients at Foodworks. Foodworks was a 10 minute walk from the resort. On the way back you can also pop into Cellarbrations for wine.
One of the cashiers at Foodworks is Max who was always smiling and welcoming.

Lot of affection for this shop (feeds me most days!) A little bit pricier than the mainland, but it's a small store on an island - you kinda gotta expect that. Very friendly staff, always excellent service, and the range is surprisingly huge for a small store. The fruit and veg in particular is always high quality.

Bob's is simply the best independent grocery store. Considering its relatively small size, Bob's has an amazing inventory of supplies/goods. Everything from bagels to turpentine! Over the past 5 months shopping there, I've found the staff to all be helpful and friendly although there is one star for me but I don't know her name. Be aware that on Wednesday afternoons the weekly replenished stock is being shelved!

It's a Foodworks. On an island. You don't exactly have a broad remit for choice here, so cop it on the chin and enjoy. You were going to no matter what this review said anyway, because... well, where else can you go? With an internal fitout that would not be amiss in a B-Grade post-apocalyptic production, a narrow main entry that affords the most intimate customer encounters, and a selection of products that predates the Great War, this Foodworks is the last bastion of "guess it'll do" this side of the hemisphere. Julie and the whole Foodworks team at Pt Lookout make shopping a pleasure! They are ALL so helpful and friendly, and the wonderful range of foods they stock is extraordinary, especially given such limited space. They're also open to getting non-standard items. This seems to be the only real grocery shop at Point Lookout and has pretty much everything you would need to keep you going for your stay on the island (including ice). Staff are friendly and the prices are what you would expect for a small grocery store.

Bob's Foodworks has always been focussed on meeting the needs of its customers. The opening hours are til late and their quality of food is great. The staff have always strived to do their best and are to be commended especially during the busy holiday seasons.
