Pros:
Awesome Japanese food joint. Location perfect. Grab your food & run to the Metro. Staffs are really good. The ambience is clean. Food portion was big & good. Had the Ontama Chicken Mayo Don, loved the flavour & sticky rice. Sarachhi sauce was wow. Will eat again. Price was really good. Choices are plenty. In love with Japanese food now.

This restaurant has a decent soup for Udon, which is hot enough to make body feel warm in chilly winter.

Also good amount of curry with rice should fuel you when hungry. You can choose a deep fried pork or chicken or preferred ingredient

Recommended

Good, reliable and convenient place to get Japanese donburi/curry rice bowls among other things. Fast service, i usually get my food within less than 5 mins and its inexpensive, with most donburi bowls being less than $9. I recommend pairing your meal with their house-made sweet tea and a side of takoyaki.

Every time I go shopping at Castle Tower, I eat at Yatai! Good and Cheap Japanese restaurant in Sydney!

Great food and great value, what is there to be said?

Price - 10/10, got a udon, a katsu chicken meal, 4 octopus balls and seeweed for $13, such good value.

Taste 9/10 - really good food, a bit saucy but you can take a bit off and its amazing.

Customer Service - Super friendly staff, made me want to come back. They seemed genuine too.

I think this is a very smart chain providing fast and tasty food on the go for a great price. A lot cleaner than all the other junk in the food court. Especially love the sous vide eggs

Fantastic service, good value, decent food. There is no ramen or salads available unfortunately, but it's the same as Ozeki Burwood.

Our go-to Japanese takeaway food. Loads of choices at very competitive prices. Highly recommended.
