Moonlight Bay Apartments

Stayed at Moonlight Bay for 5 nights. Its a very family friendly resort. We have met some amazing people here. The staff are fantastic to deal with, the cleaners that come around each morning to replace towels etc are super friendly & chatty just like me. The owner is always cleaning the common area which is always spotless. Kat at reception is lovely to deal with & always stops for a chat. We have already booked our 2025 stay & cannot wait!!! This resort definitely deserves a 5 star!!!

I stayed 9 nights at Moonlight Bay, and was impressed with how professional the staff were. I stayed at the minimum 3 nights spa room. The room had a big fridge, two cooking electric hot plates, various cooking items, utensils and condiments supplied. Even an electric blanket which was great! Sheets and bedding is the best I've had at any hotel. The spa came with some complimentary bath salts. The blinds in the bathroom were a little had to reach for a short person like me, but that was the only drawback, otherwise the bathroom was spacious, modern and the hot water was amazing in the shower.
Staff were always helpful and friendly, and take any concerns seriously. You are just a few steps from the shops and the beach.

An excellent choice for a few days on Mornington Penisular. Cat, our very kind & friendly receptionist, helped us with all our queries and little problems. Our room is very comfortable, the bed too, and the kitchen is the best we've had on our holiday, fully equipped.

Pros: Great location, large floor plan, good design, clean, pool with spa, big fridge, substantial kitchen ware and great bathroom.
Cons: No smart TV but have a DVD Library, very low couch.

Amazing location, close to everything!! customer service and hospitality was exceptional thank you Kat for our warm welcome. The rooms and pool were perfect for our family to unwind and relax for the evening ☺

It is a wonderful motel，near the beach and all the shops ，the reception lady is so friendly with us，Highly recommend to you all！

Had a fantastic night here. Receptionist was super lovely and had great banter. Room was clean and spacious. Bathroom in room 6 is a little clogged but otherwise everything was great. Easy.

Great place to stay in Rosebud. Big clean rooms with full size fridge, well stocked kitchen and comfortable lounge and bed. Great location with plenty to see, do, eat and drink close by. Ample onsite parking. Pool and spa available. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Stayed here for a few nights with some friends. It was fantastic. Perfect location. Next to the beach and shops. Nice and clean. Kitchen was a bonus. Would definitely recommend and give more stars if i was able to!

We booked last minute on a long weekend after lock down after the place we originally booked had to cancel our booking at the last minute because of storm damage. I did not have high hopes, but it turned out to be a great place. Great location, fantastic roomy accommodation, clean and friendly service. I would definitely recommend it.

What a fantastic place. Spa in the room. Heated pool. In the perfect location. It is in the middle of everything you could possibly need.
Would highly recommend Moonlight Bay apartments. Will definitely come back here again.

Very Good Accommodation in Perfect Location. Check-in process was very quick. We were greeted by a lovely lady who showed us to our room. We stayed in the 1 bedroom apartment which was spotless. I could not fault anything. Central location to all the lovely cafes and shops. Will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

An amazing, well-kept apartment hotel close to the beach and a stone's throw away from fantastic restaurants and cafes.

Check in took less than 10 minutes, with Brad cheerfully showing us to our beautifully appointed room and assigning us our parking space. The apartment was well equipped with a heating/cooling system, an extremely comfortable bed, a heating blanket, and kitchenette facilities. Towels and rubbish were cleared on a daily basis. The bathroom was spotless and the spa bath was relaxing!

Will definitely look forward to staying here again on our next trip to the Southeast.

We came here to enjoy our first year wedding anniversary.. stayed for two nights. The room was amazing and clean.. along with all the other facilities. Our young boy fell in love with the "big blue pool" we liked how central it felt to everything local.. the beach is across the road.. and plenty of cafes and restaurants to choose from. The staff are all so lovely and helpful and made us feel welcome. Thank you so much. We can't wait to return to our new favorite place on the mornington peninsula.

I believe the apartment has been renovated recently and the interior is very clean. I cooked during my stay and the kitchen had pretty much what I need except cooking oil. Reception staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is close to most attractions such as number 16 beach. I would definitely recommend to anyone who is planning to visit Rye.

The staff are just incredible, the location, swimming pool and the 2 bedroom apartment are also just perfect! We've stayed 3 separate times before and have already booked another holiday! Thanks guys

Stayed here over the long weekend and I cannot fault it at all! Less than 5 minute walk to the Rye Pier, 45 second walk to Vulcano Ice Cream and amazing cafes, clean and spacious room and lovely staff! The King bed was so comfortable and linen was incredibly clean and neat! Probably the best accommodation I have stayed at down at the Peninsular...Thank you Moonlight Bay for making our stay amazing and we can't wait to be back!

Our stay here was very comfortable and pleasant. The staff went above and beyond to suit our needs. The apartment was renovated and everything was new and clean. It also in a good location with close proximity to the main road and the local RSL. I would highly recommend staying here and I'll book here again the next time I am on the coast .
