Our autumn retreat at Poached Pear, managed by Alpine Valley Getaways, was an enchanting experience that surpassed all expectations. Nestled amidst the picturesque beauty of Bright, this cozy house provided the perfect blend of comfort, elegance, and tranquility.

From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the charm of Poached Pear. The lush garden surroundings created a welcoming ambiance that instantly made us feel at home. Inside, the interior was beautifully appointed with tasteful decor and modern amenities, ensuring a comfortable and luxurious stay.

The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly exploring Bright during the autumn season. With the town ablaze in a symphony of vibrant hues.

We attended Villa Urbane for our trip to compete in the Bright Spartan Trifecta event. The accomodation was super clean, the beds were comfy (good for rest) and each room had air conditioning which was a must in the heat. We loved what Bright had to offer, the restaurants were a real surprise. The villa was clean, tidy, well equipped with the things you'd need on your stay. The AVG team were very accomodating and had great communication with us. Thank you for making our trip fun!

Love the location of this house, as it is just a short walk across a bridge to the centre of Bright. The house is pet friendly, with a small fenced outdoor area for dogs to do their constitutional requirements. There is everything you need for an extended stay, including dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. We have booked this house twice in the last year and have only fond memories of the house and Bright - makes a lovely break from city life.

We have used Alpine Valley Getaways a couple of times and their service, booking, support etc is top notch. Their properties are very well maintained and of a high standard. The location of the places we have stayed have been great too. We really appreciate the focus on sustainability, natural/organic products, recycling etc.

A fantastic pet friendly home, a minute’s walk from Bright town Centre. Our two GSD’s had a blast and the sun room was perfect for their two crates. All the mod cons! Our second time using Alpine Getaways and we’ll definitely use them again! Sir Loins in town is our recommendation for an up

The only thing I would improve is to add lower stickers onto the glass sliding door (onto the deck). Our dog thought the closed door was open, and crashed into it. Dog height stickers are needed.

The accommodation was excellent; beautiful peaceful location and only a short 5 min drive to Bright. Well equipped, modern and homely. All very new, with lovely wood burning fire. Alpine Valley Getaway staff were friendly and helpful at this very busy time of year for this area. Great experience all round and can highly recommend.

These guys are unreal to deal with. Very organised and professional. We have just had a fabulous stay in Bright booked through Alpine Valley Getaways and look forward to returning again. The place was very well presented.

This place has plenty of room. Easy to deal with. Was clean, not perfect but still clean. Great location just out of town but still close. Plenty of room for parking. Enjoyed our stay, would stay here again if in the area.

We've booked accommodation through AVG for the past 2 years. They have excellent dog friendly property choices. Communication from the team at AVG are thoughtful and comprehensive. The properties we have stayed at were clean and well presented, with lovely homey touches. Definitely recommend.

We loved our 10 night stay at Lumley Abode. It had all the amenities we needed and then some. The firepit and fireplace were great on the chilly nights, and it was nice have a split system in the bedroom to keep us cosy in the mornings. The little gifts were a nice touch. Internet and streaming were glitch free. The king bed was very comfortable with plenty of pillows to choose from :)

Harrietville is one of the most beautiful spots in VIC. The team at Alpine Valley Getaways were fantastic to deal with and always happy to answer all our questions. They were so helpful and flexible in these times when things are uncertain.

We really enjoyed our stay at Blue Hills Rise. The property was very well maintained and heater was already running for us (we got there at 10pm),so we had a nice warm welcome. It had all the amenities,extra heaters in the bedrooms was a plus. The location was perfect, walking distance to shops and parks. We'll definitely go back next year and highly recommend booking with Alpine Valley Getways.

The property we stayed at was secure for our Dog, well appointed and clean. No complaints in the slightest! Alpine Valley Getaways were in touch with us every step of the way with all the information we needed.

We enjoy staying here as its easy access to all that Bright has to offer.
We love the fact it's Pet Friendly so our fur baby never misses out.

My wife and I absolutely loved this place. The comfort of the home, the relaxing atmosphere and the enclosed gardens were brilliant. We had our Border Collie with us, and the local trails not to mention the Wandi pub all easy walking distance. Home was quiet, peaceful and all the facilities we could need to enjoy our stay there. We will definitely make this our stop when near Bright and Wandiligong.

Had a great stay through Alpine Valley. They were responsive to messages, offered late checkout without asking, and generally keen to make sure we had a great stay.
