SM PRECISION BUILDING

SM precision built our house 2 years ago. Steve, Moana and especially Nathan were very good right from the start. Nathan our site manager was very hands on throughout the building process and was there to assist whenever we had any issues. During the hand over, the whole team was there for the final inspection and took detailed notes of the minor defects that were noted. Within 2 weeks, all the defects were fixed promptly by the respective contractors. Overall, our experience with SM was a positive one and we would recommend them to anyone looking to build their home.

I would highly recommend SM Precision. As a busy single Mum working full time, going through the process of building a home for the first time, I was a little nervous. From the first discussions about the plans to getting my keys on completion, I was so incredibly happy with the communication, quality of the build and whole experience in general. Thank you for helping me build a beautiful house for the kids and I to call home.

SM Precision Building built my home for me in Franklin in 2009. Steve went above and beyond, even helping me wall mount my TV at no charge (something he didn't need to do). They later came and built a colourbond gate for the side of the property.

The process was always very smooth with Steve and his staff onsite, and Moanna and the staff in the office were always excellent to deal with and put my mind at ease.

Almost ten years later, still no issues with the property and I have never required them to return for maintenance.

A top building company.

SM Precision built my home in Harrison. It's a delight to live in and I have had no issues with the home in the 3 years I've been there. They also returned to build a deck for me, which is also fantastic quality and workmanship.

Professional to work with

We built our first home with SM precision. It all started with a meeting with Kellie and Moanna, both professional and friendly. The time itself wasn’t in our favour because of Covid lockdown. We loved how they dealt with it.
Nathan was extremely helpful and friendly. He knows what he is doing and was always there when we needed.
Would have been even better if you would provide a little more pros and cons of building plan specially for first home buyers.
Overall, great experience.

We are renting a townhouse in Lawson built by SM Precision. When we moved in we had plumbing issues from day one and raw sewage was overflowing down the street of the complex, the laundry sink leaked and we had gas or hot water for the first 2 weeks because the plumbers had turned it off!

There was no remote for the air conditioning unit and when we went to collect it the lady at the front desk gave us the wrong one.

They had cable tied a watering system to our back gate so we couldn't use that for the first 2 week, the grass in the backyard was completely dead upon moving in and builders rubbish littered the backyard.

A large crack between the front door and wall formed from roof to the floor which makes me think the formwork of this complex is poor.

SM Precision failed to request NBN to be installed to the complex which should have been done before people had moved in, NBNco states it will take up to 17 weeks for new developments. We have been living here for 2 months without internet!!

The only positive is in the future we know that we won't be touching a property built by SM Precision.

I am currently living in one of the townhouses built by SM precision in Lawson. On the top of the external and internal issues that requires repair, I am experiencing difficulty getting responses to my email follow-ups which started last year.

I will use this review platform as I go, hoping to get SM Precisions attention.

We purchased an off the plan townhouse in July 2021. We weren’t given any updates unless we reached out asking about the delays. After 12 months of waiting, the builder has rescinded the contracts and wasted our time.

I have signed contract with them in Sep-20 and they broke that in Apr-21 claiming that they could not get that approved. Shame on you SM Precision. You have wasted my 6 months and I have lost $25k for home builder grant.

We are renting a townhouse in Lawson.
When it rains, it floods the garage. NBN was not installed and there are major rodent problems in all the townhouses on the street. Wish I could give this 0 Stars but this is the lowest google will go.
