Morillas Cafe

What a life saver, there is good coffee in Lighting Ridge. We had coffee here three times and consistently good every time. Lunch and breakfast did not disappoint either. Five stars for the Morillas cafe. They also served up awesome Mexican at the Hungry Spirit Night market event that is held monthly on a Saturday night during the winter months. Great food around the bonfire. Morillas staff are friendly and service comes with a smile 😊

A must visit!! Great coffee and I mean authentic, smooth, great coffee 👌🏻 And the young folks’ service was incredible. Good vibes only here, we were so impressed!! Something on the menu for everyone (including kids menu!) highly recommend the burgers and the kids shakes & chips were a hit! Can’t go wrong here. Enjoy!

The staff here are SO nice! We came 3 times on our short trip and they were always upfront about the menu (e.g. the avocados are hard so I wouldn't recommend that etc.) and accomodating to allow for menu changes for vegetarians. Such a lovely spot to sit with a coffee and cake in the sun!

First time at Morillas. Great coffee (double shot flat white), yummy blueberry muffin. Excellent service, staff overheard conversation about vegan preferences and came over to say they could do a vegan lunch if we wished.

Friendly staff and excellent food. While we sat on their terrace we had an opportunity to catch up with some of the locals. We would recommend any of the thickshakes and the angus burger, but honestly think you can't go wrong with any of the food served.

Was at Lightning Ridge last week for three days and this is the cafe that the locals use as its also the only one that stays open in the summer because its the best ! Coffee and food 5 stars . Be prepared to wait as its always busy as everyone uses it but its worth it.

Small but classy cafe with reasonably priced food. The ice-coffees are exceptional and accompanied tasty salad sandwiches. Opens around 07:00 during the week & 07:30 on weekend. Closes around 14:00
