SEC Campground

A great spot for camping. There were fire pits to make our fire which was very convenient. Since we had to carry out packs a short way, it was a quieter spot. We did the Wilhelmina Falls Track which had beautiful sights!

Great little campground - a little hidden gem.

The campground is about 180m from the carpark and pretty much flat. The path's rocky but you can easily carry stuff over - or bring a small trolley. It's not far. Toilet in excellent condition and well stocked by the rangers (bring a spare roll just in case but there were four full rolls when we were there).

There are in theory seven campsites, but there's room for about 12 tents with plenty of space. There are five fire pits, but you can set up your own fire if you want - but please please PLEASE make sure it's out before you leave it.

Most spots have at least some shade - nice trees all 'round.

There are no bins at the carpark so take all your rubbish with you.

Payment is $7 per car per night. There were no checks by rangers when we were there, but at only a $7 contribution for such a nice spot you'd be a d!ck for not contributing.

Very crowded on the weekends but a very nice campsite by the river with a hiking track to Wilhelmina falls. There's one drop dunny.

Beautiful spot if you're willing to haul your gear 100m. We love it as it gets you away from the cars and dusty road.

Just went for a day walk and also reccy as we are planning to camp here in the near future. Fires allowed in dedicated fire pits but you need to BYO firewood, sites are decent sized- caravans and campervans are allowed. Rug up if you are camping in the winter. Drop loos available. Small fee to stay, make sure you check the Murrindindi camping website to book before you arrive. Phone coverage minimal to not existent and I am with telstra.

Great spot for a camp if you are keen as well as multiple walking tracks. No dogs allowed

Beautiful campground, nice nature, there is waterfall as well ,we enjoy that,just no reception and no pay machine ,we drove 6 kms to get reception and pay online for camping fees

Very good for camping and site seeing

Great camping site. Just far enough away from the car to feel secluded but close enough to pack like car camping. Nice and close to the river for playing in. It was a shame there was no toilet paper in the toilets. Other than that we had a great time😊

No reception and not many places to visit, 7 dollar fee to stay the night, nature walk is nice and its a good place to get away, not a fan of the truck convoy that drives past in the mornings. Closest place for supplies is a united that overcharges and is 30 mins away.

Limited spaces. Campground a bit far from car park. Easy to find firewood. 1x drop toilet nearby. Walkway to waterfall.
