Ovens Valley Motor Inn

We travelled to Bright for a wedding and had my elderly mother with us.
The help from the staff in receiving and holding a hired wheelchair for us was invaluable. Nothing was a bother and the ability to extend our checkout was very helpful.
Rooms were clean and spacious.
Would recommend this property without hesitation.

Great friendly clean place to stay. Pool excellent. Our room had a step down shower so something to think about for the elderly. No microwave in your rooms but so many places to eat out in Bright and surrounds. It does help to save $$ to spend on other activities though. We found it nice to be just 1.5 km out of town. Ceiling fans would be good.

spacious room for 2 adults and a toddler, clean and all basic amenities provided. great location being a short drive from the town centre. umbrellas over the pool are great so you can still enjoy the water in the sun. great contactless check in and out process. hope to come stay again!

Stayed in the very roomy and comfortable family room with our kids. Fabulous, clean hotel with all the quirks you could ask for.

Close to town centre and the wonderful Bright bike trails. Pool was perfect for kids and adults alike.

Lovely hosts who were incredibly helpful. They even helped out with recommending and booking fabulous dinner reservations for us.

This is a great place in the Bright country town. This hotel is located around hills and mountains, not too far away from the Bright town centres. You can do cycling, camping, and other activities around here. The restaurant provides very quality service and staff are very friendly and supportive.
Only one suggestion I have is to have at least one microwave in the Common kitchen.

My partner and I came up to Bright from Melbourne for the weekend and absolutely enjoyed our stay at Ovens Valley Motor Inn. Our double room was spacious and very clean. The property has great facilities like a pool (great for cooling down on hot days, 36 degrees when we were there), BBQ and tennis court and the staff are all super friendly and helpful. With only a few minutes drive to the centre of Bright and lots of other places to visit in the area, it makes for the perfect place to base yourself! Great value for money too! Hopefully be back soon :)

Wonderful 4 night stay - very spacious room with free wifi, plenty of storage for suitcases and to hang clothes, sofa as well as table with chairs (great for planning hikes), small bar fridge and sink with basic cutlery (no microwave), and a compact bathroom with storage for toiletries. The shower water pressure was fantastic, and I am glad that they followed their environmental policies (we left our towels on the rail so they weren't replaced, unlike other places that seem to replace them despite these signs). They even had a recycling bin in the room! It was outside the bustle of town which was great for a quiet getaway. We didn't use the pool/BBQ facilities but many other guests did, and the noise was kept to a minimum at later hours. The bed was equipped with an electric blanket, presumably for the cold winter nights! We arrived late after check-in but had great communication with the owner TingTing for our arrangements. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay here. If we are in Bright again, we would definitely return here!

We had a very relaxing time. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The accommodation was neat, clean and tidy. The town centre, golf course were all nearby. The bike track was right in front the the accommodation. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay and would not hesitate to stay here again.

We walked to and from bright town (1.8km) on 3 different ways , via gorge bush track, cycle pathway and footpath. All very flat and easy.
Highly recommend.

Everything that you need. I had to stay here at short notice, but I couldn't fault this motor inn. Great size room, clean, friendly staff, and nice grounds. Good in-room amenities. Free wifi (which you need because Telstra mobile reception in the room was terrible/non-existent).
The room was relatively well insulated from noise, but don't hope for a sleep in if you're near the front window; the cleaning cart makes a fair bit of noise trundling around in the morning.

Great little place to stay, rooms were nice and the staff were amazing - can’t fault them. There was however a group of disrespectful guests that were up partying late into the night/morning disrupting all other guests, but the staff went above and beyond to correct the behaviour of the rude guests and even rang the police to quiet them down.

The staff also posted my pillow back that I accidentally left in my room, can’t thank them enough! Wonderful staff.

We have had many stays at the lovely Ovens Valley Motor Inn over the years. The motel is sparkling clean and the customer service is consistently super friendly and helpful. The parking is easy, the pool is fabulous and it's right on the bike path. We can't wait to come back!

Had a really pleasant and enjoyable stay here right from the warm welcome at check-in. Room was spacious, fresh and clean and we enjoyed a delightful walk into town for dinner. Highly recommended motel. The beautiful tree tunnel of autumn colour is right at the doorstep and particularly spectacular at sunset

Really enjoyed our stay here for our family trip. Perfect location not too far from the town or Mt Buffalo. The view of the hill/ tress at the back the motor truely beautiful and the tennis court and area pool additional activities for kids to enjoy.

Very accommodating staff, had to change my booking 3x but they were very patient and catered to my needs. The room was clean and comfortable and they have a pool too. Location was great as well, close to the town. Will definitely book here again.

We were scheduled for a 5 night stay at this motel, but unfortunately it was cut short after 2 nights due to Victoria going into lockdown which required our group to make a hasty 6 hour non stop bus trip home. Our accommodation was great, the meals delicious and the motel staff, at short notice, made us sandwiches for the trip home. As a group we were all impressed by the staff and the service provided.

We appreciated the clean, quiet, and comfortable room to return to after a long day cycling/hiking. With the refrigerator, sink, and kettle we were able to have our meals in the room and save money. A microwave would have been awesome, but not a deal breaker. We will return if we get back to Bright.

Another awesome Alpine Classic weekend at the Ovens Valley Motor Inn. Comfortable, quiet and very friendly. In room microwave would be an improvement but regardless a great stay. Been coming here for 15 years and will be back in 2022 if not before.

Stayed here with my partner over queens weekend, Shannon was lovely to deal with and very accommodating, the rooms are surprisingly spacious and nice, the common area is lovely and well-kept, and overall was a pleasant stay and I will definitely be coming back again

This was a Probus group trip and was very successful. The motel was comfortable, the meals were good home cooking style and the venues visited were varied and run by knowledgeable people. The coach driver was very amenable and helpful at all times. We had a ball. roll on next trip!!!!
