Apex Lookout

Quite steep and rough going up, you wouldn't make it in a sedan, it's 4WD only unfortunately, but wow! What a view when you get there, beautiful overlooking Bright and Wandilligong, a few walking paths up there for different vantage points and a couple of park benches and tables too

Good place to go and checkout the view over Bright and the surrounding area. The view can be obstructed in spots though. The 4wd came in handy to get there as certain areas are challenging if you are walking. And there is even a couple of seats to sit down. I wouldn't recommend if your in a car though.

Lovely walk, great view.

A moderate walk from downtown Bright and about 10kms return. We started early before the sun got too high. 4wd only as it is steep, rocky and loose. The walk itself is 1.2km and well worth it for the views. We saw a couple of kangaroos on the way up. Be aware of dirt bike riders on the dirt road also. 👍

Nice place to visit and great hiking experience. Only 4wd can access top if your going by car (without walking 1.4km track).

The drivable road till the lookout point is only for 4WD. It really is.
In other case, there’s a 1.2km of ascent walk taking approximately 20 mins one-way. The first half of the trek is a slight-ascent wavy path, while the second half is zig-zaggy with steep-ish ascent.

Recommend a 4x4 if your gonna drive up, it's pretty steep.
Amazing views

Scenic lookout. You could either walk to it or drive to the lookout in a 4wd. Track is well maintained and is steep in places, so 4wd is recommended if you're driving up to it.

Can drive up to the lookout. AWD with clearance is pretty handy.

A great little morning walk to get the blood pumping. Nice to watch the winter sun shine over the town.

Fun track. Managed to get up and down (in first gear) in a 3.6L Subaru Liberty. The actual 4WD drivers at the top were very amused lol

Great hike, be prepared for an incline the entire way, there is hardly any flat sections. Some beautiful views from the top. Not a lot of parking at the bottom of this walk and you can only drive the whole way and skip the walk if you are in a 4wd.

Nice little ride up from Bright. Don’t think I could do it with out an e-bike though.

Amazing view but strongly recommend to everyone: Do not go there by 2WD vehicles.

4x4 only if you’re driving up. Great view that’s easily accessible from Bright. Get amongst it.

Beautiful little waterfall. Its not a difficult walk from the road to the falls but still needs a little attention and effort. Parking can be an issue on busy weekends so pick your times but well worth seeing
