Great spot for camping and astrophotography. get's busy over public holidays so try to go early to get a spot. But there are a bunch of other campsites nearby too.

One of the many great camp in murrindindi area. Close to the river and even has flushed toilets. Can be busy on long weekends but you always find a spot. Please make sure to pay the 7 dollars per night. It's nothing but it helps to keep this beautiful place and facilities. Also some nice hikes in the area. And only 1h30 from Melbourne. Road to get in is gravel but very good for any vehicle. Little falls 10min drive south

Great spot for a camp and hour and a half from Melbourne. Still plenty of gems in this great state.

Nice spot with individually marked sites that vehicles can access, generally seperated by a fence and often some trees too. Sites have fire pits, many with grill plate, and firewood collection is allowed but be aware it can be a busy area so it may be hard to find. Services by two flushing toilets. River access from site but bring your own drinking water.

Really enjoyed our stay. Toilets were really clean, as were the sites. We thought it was going to be really busy. It was but still very quiet.

The perfect place to escape for a night. Toilets were (as always) tidy / respectable and well stocked (with paper).

FLUSH TOILETS!!!
Had enough toilet paper too, seats were clean, not really leaky.Wash basin had non drinkable water + no mirror outside the two toilets.
The park grounds request you purchase a permit to camp there, please do this beforehand as the Murrundindi park area has no data or cellular reception! (edited to add this)
Ample campgrounds of slightly different variations all across the site. Each lot has their concrete square fire pit lined with charcoal. Some come with the inbuilt grill/plate swing combo, some don't. The lots themselves come with grass, dirt, gravel, in some kind of combination. They are well spaced out as well, but you can still hear other people's music or radio well into the night (crowds themselves were not too rowdy). Also quite a few communal fire pits, picnic benches and extra parking in the central area near the toilets. (Toilets are accessed by an uneven dirt track running through this central area, no lighting.) Firewood not provided.
Possums stare at you at night, birds stare at you in the morning, everyone wants to join in for meals. Came in winter so not too buggy, but saw the odd mozzie or two. River access out the back.
