Pimpernel Vineyards

Great tasting at Pimpernel over the weekend. Mark the owner walked us through their offerings with detail and wit. Tastes of their wines are very much inline with a classical French style or classical Yarra Valley offerings. A couple of rare/unique varieties thrown in for good measure. Every wine is well constructed and holds its place well in the line up no throw aways. If you like the classic profiles you wont be disappointed.

A small place but worth every minute spent here! The passion, dedication and knowledge of the staff just draws you into their wine selection - and they’re great! Do experience their wine tasting and learn all about its characteristics and processes while at it. It was an enjoyable experience and I highly recommend them!

We are inexperienced in wine tasting and just wanted to try one for the experience . Michael is very professional in the explanation ... enjoyed the wine..till I think my friend got drunk and thought she lost her phone .. when actually it’s in her pocket … haha great experience … support small and local business

A cosy and inviting spot. Everything on the tasting menu was really good. Tasting went down quick but we ended up chatting for most of the hour about wines, Pimpernels, terroir, food. On the host's recommendation, we'll definitely try to pair the 2018 Viognier up with Assam Laksa. 5/5 - I would definitely return.

Fav winery in Yarra Valley. Pinot One and Pinot Two is the best in Victoria.

A very small vineyard for a change in Yarra Valley, totally worth it! All the wines were amazing (our favourite in the Yarra Valley!) and the staff was absolutely wonderful :) Thank you for having us!

Beautiful winery, stunning views. I can honestly say that the wines here are the best I've tasted in the Yarra Valley. We've been on many winery visits and this place is definitely my favourite spot. A must visit!

This was the first winery we visited for the day and WHAT A GREAT START. Marika was very patient and shared her knowledge about wines very eloquently. Place is great for both beginners and experienced wine drinkers/tasters

Cannot recommend this place more highly. Have now visited twice and both times had a great experience. First time we were able to meet the owner who is very passionate about his wine. Staff are all excellent as well.

Have been to several wineries in Yarra and Pimpernel is the best by far in terms of how good their wines are, particularly their range of Pinots and red blends. If you're picking one winery in Yarra to visit, then try to come here.

This is a small winery with a focus on great wines - great wines, not cheap wines. We were fortunate to have the owner Mark take us through the tasting. It wasn't difficult to find something to love amongst the range of wines. Mark made it a very personal experience with lots of anecdotes about his wines and wine making in general. I particularly liked the Chardonnay, GSM and Shiraz - would love to return to taste the full range of Pinot Noir. We also enjoyed tasting the range of imported Champagnes. Great service from all the friendly staff.

This is definitely the best winery I've ever been to. Every single wine we tried was exceptional, even the whites which I don't normally like.
Morgan and Fiona who run the tastings were lovely and gave us an excellent run down of all the wines we tasted.
We were so blown away by the high quality of all the wines that we couldn't refuse joining their club.

Another great winery producing something different to the larger wineries. The owner guided us through a tasting and is a top guy, a few different Pinot Noir styles, bought a few bottles to take home. Definitely worth a visit to taste some unique wines. I would recommend visiting Yileena Park also for some unique varieties and styles.

Excellent small winery with a real passion for winemaking. Lovely dedicated service amongst a valley of big players. And ultimately the wines are next level, beautifully nuanced and incredibly well crafted. Make sure you leave enough boot space for this one!! Love it

We've been to many, many wineries all over the world, and Pimpernel was one of our best experiences. The views and tasting room are pretty and the wines are delicious. Best of all, though, we got to spend time with Mark, Fiona, and Bella. It was a fantastic time and we enjoyed everything about it.
