My wife and I were travelling around Tasmania in a 1997 Coaster bus. We had an issue with the transmission when we reached the southern tip of Tasmania. The coaster bus would get stuck in Reverse and 2nd gear. We were stuck in Dunalley, and I was googling bus repairs in Hobart, A few phone calls later I was no closer to getting it sorted, when I saw 5 Star Jet Automotive that was only 800metres down the road. My first thought was, man these guys will be too small to handle this but what choice did I have. These guys are fantastic, I would not hesitate to recommend them. The diagnosed the fault within 5 minutes, a leaking Slave cylinder. They topped up the fluid for us ordered the part, no deposit or anything and the part arrived the next day which they fitted. They offered us a vehicle to go into Hobart over the long weekend, and charged us way too little for the job undertaken. I don't recommend many businesses but this is the best, honest business I have dealt with within years and it was a shock to the system on how good they were. They really saved our vacation and were an absolute pleasure to work with.

The heater core in my 2002 winnebago went and the truck overheated on the hill outside of Eagle Neck. After being quoted silly over priced money to vet it towed to Hobart we decided to nurse it into Dunalley and hope that we ciuld find someone there to fix it. Despite the machine shop being super busy and having a 3 week wait they had a look at it on the spot and got me going with a work around that will get me back to SA. Only charged me for an hours labour when he worked on it for almost 2. Fantastic service.

We used the JET Team to service our Southern Ocean Solar work van, the service was great and so was the price. we would recommend them to anyone. thank you JET Automotive!

Jet offer mobile and in work shop service they are also a vehicle inspection station.
The staff are very professional and knowledgeable.
The workshop areas are immaculate and well equipped.
My job was completed within a short time and to my satisfaction.
The cost of the work was appropriate.

Highly recommended! Vechicle had multiple issues, all fixed in a few hours and for a great price! I find it hard to trust mechanics not to screw you over, but these guys seem good.

Discovered an almost flat tyre on our suv after Sorell on way to Port Arthur. Found this contact online about 7km further down. Clean and nice workshop interior. Very quick within 25 minutes tyre repair service at a very reasonable $30 at a time when we needed it the most. Friendly staff. Highly recommended.

This magician came and sequentially cleared every section of the car, finding the problem to be a single part, which he encouraged me to source myself more cheaply. Honest, hard working and brilliant at what he does. Two seperate mechanics couldn’t find the problem, including the stealership and one other who said that the engine was simply blown. I’ll never go to a regular garage again.

Had an issue with our clutch which we couldn’t get fixed there because we were short on time. Mechanic donated us some break fluid and advice that would get us to our appointment and mechanic in Hobart
