Just had a lovely lunch at Phoenix Farm, 2 of us had battered fish and chips with a lovely salad from the garden and I had the seafood curry. Not a huge portion but brimming with seafood on rice and there was no way I could finish all the rice. Lovely atmosphere and we had a rainy walk around the gardens afterwards. This is a little gem, and we look forward to returning when they reopen again in September in the new dining space.

Another incredible lunch enjoyed at Phoenix Farm.
Noel and Mike know how to prepare, deliver and execute a superb dining experience.
All dishes were as always exceptional.
Homestyle gourmet food made with love and finess, using the finest homegrown and local produce and matched with local wines, bursting with flavour and in house sauces that are just sublime.
Really is a perfect treat when you get the chance to dine at Phoenix Farm.

The person who left a one-star review along with me had a similar experience. My father and I were passing by this restaurant, and after parking, we didn't see anyone around, so we stood there waiting. The farmer came out from the field very rudely asking us, "What are you doing here?!" I felt very uncomfortable but still politely asked if they sold oysters. He got angry and loudly said, "No!!! Go away!" I was furious, but because my old age father waiting in car , I didn't want any conflict, I got into the car to leave. Suddenly, he rushed towards me as if he wanted to attack me (I'm female). I quickly started the car and drove off, seeing him chase after us for a while, shouting some very insulting words with a flushed face. This experience made me extremely enraged .I've been in Australia for seven years and have never been treated like this. It also frightened my father, who was visiting Australia for the first time. Seeing another bad review, my biggest guess is that this farmer, Mike, didn't like our appearance . I don't understand why there are so many five-star reviews; maybe he's only friendly to local white people. His lack of education make me not recommend anyone to patronize his establishment, especially international travelers.

My wife and I wanted to pop in for a cozy breakfast. Owner (?) called us out as we walked in, short-tempered and rude, effectively sending us away. Plenty of guests were having breaky inside. My best guess is he didn't like our appearance; we may never know. Can't remember the last time I was treated this rude at an Establishment, or anywhere else for that matter. Would give zero stars if I could. Will never come back and will tell friends.
