Dunalley Seaside Market

What a great find! Just off the main route to Port Arthur, the Seaside Market offers a real local experience and great food.
Super friendly people and great service, with some of the best fish and chips I have had for a long time. I’m not sure what the fish was, but it was fresh, sweet and moist. Chips were really tasty and a very generous portion.
Lots of outdoor seating, with views of the bay, or the Dunalley Bridge.

What an absolute gem I found in Dunalley! From the moment I walked in I was greeted with a warm welcome by a male staff member… could not decide what to have, was recommended a Deluxe meal and OMG! Mouth watering, hot, salted to perfection, plump juicy scallops, crunchy, but soft on the inside chips (the best way!) and the fish… tender, juicy and delicious.
All aspects took me back to old school excellent customer service. The guy cooking asked how our meal was, thanked us for coming in and gave directions to Neal the seal. I will definitely be making the trip from Hobart again, just for the fish and chips and awesome service. Thanks everyone :)

We stopped in for a bite to eat and to get out of the weather. We were so happy that we did. The seafood was so fresh and delicious and the atmosphere was perfect for casual dining. We had two little kids with us and we were so pleased that they catered for children for such a reasonable price. It was a real find. A perfect place to stop on the way home from Port Arthur.

I normally don’t like fish because of the odour. Surprisingly it’s odourless. Crispy outside but juicy and soft inside. I’d say it’s the best finish n chips I ever had in TAS.

Stopped here for lunch as we seen on Facebook the had only just reopened back up and glad we were able to eat here. We got the fish and chip and it came with a calamari as well for $22. We all enjoyed it. It has been beautifully renovated inside as well as a small shop with local goodies.

Fresh crumbed Fish, calamari & hot chips are delicious, and friendly service and views of the bay. Plus Neal the Seal at the public jetty.

It’s hard to find a good fish and chips, but this is one of my very favourite places. Good view nice fish everything fresh, would be nice if it comes with tartar sauce and tomato sauce

This is a great place to stop at on the way back from the Tasman Peninsula! We loved the very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The place is beautifully renovated, and the food was absolutely delicious. Some of the best and freshest fish and chips we've had.

Recently refurbished and looking very chic. The fish and chips were excellent very much like the previous owners. Genuine friendly staff!

Budget fish and chips. We paid $20 for seafood basket for 2 people.
Fish was nice and fresh as well as calamari.

The staff were so so friendly and the food was so delicious. It doesn’t get fresher than the dunnaley markets and I would recommend to anyone. They were so so so good

We called in for Lunch today to check out the renovation and food.

Only item on menu is fish and chips and they charge per person, here is an order for 5 persons and that is $45 only, so delicious

Recommend by staff at Crowne Hobart, great fresh seafood with a drink or two from The Ginnery. Highly recommended between Hobart and Port Arthur.
