Great place to stop in Dunalley on the way to Port Arthur from Hobart.

I really like the vanilla slice, a big piece for $6.5 and they help me to cut halfway :)

Also got a coconut slice and apricot slice which were not bad but for $5.1 it's not worth it

You also have savoury choice for lunch here!!

I bought a vanilla slice here today , the creamy one with the patterned icing . It was delicious and big enough to share with my husband. Lady was very friendly and service was great . There were a couple outside having a chunky steak pie and the guy said it was very good .

After writing this review , the next morning we were heading off leaving Dunalley , so called in for a sausage roll or two and also bought hot cross buns. Tasty sausage rolls and nice and hot and filled my belly . The hot cross buns had plenty of flavour and sultanas . Once again the lady ( different lady from yesterday )who served me this morning was friendly and happy . Great service all around and very reasonably priced . From memory two sausage rolls and two hot cross buns were not even $12 .

Came here with my husband and our 4 kids and I Had the most AMAZING steak and bacon pie ever! My partner had steak and bacon with cheese and a sausage rolls and kids all had party pies all were delicious! 👌 And then we all grabbed deserts on the way out, jelly slice cupcakes, vanilla slice and carrot cake! Ohmygod everything was just amazing! I can't wait to visit again! 💞
(And my son spilt a bottle of banana milk and the lady was absolutely so lovely lovely and understanding cleaned it up for us and cheer him up as he was embarrassed he did it) lovely ladies great service and perfect food! ❤❤

French vanilla custard slice was amazing. I saw they had 5 trays of that compared to 1 tray of everything else and decided to try it. Glad I did.

Great service, lots of friendly staff.
Great location, easy car parking.
Hubby had Breakfast roll. I had small sausage roll and apricot Danish and of course COFFEE!
We enjoyed it all.

Absolutely delicious bread and the hot cross buns were the best we have ever eaten! And I’ve eaten a lot of hot cross buns!!! Very friendly service too!

Didn’t capture the food in pictures, but my husband and I grabbed a steak pie, cauliflower and cheese pie and a blueberry and custard danish.
All lovely pastry and yummy fillings. No bad thing to say about any of these. Obviously made with love.

Very good and very popular but The cafe next door is also excellent with a different vibe.

Fast, friendly service. Great food, their cakes/pastries ( so many to choose from) are delicious. Coffee was good and considering how busy they were we didn't have to wait long. We stopped twice, once on the way to Eaglehawk Nest and again the next day on the way to Bicheno.

Stopped here on way back from Port Arthur. Staff were really chatty and friendly. Coffee was one of the best I have had recently. Loads of variety and choice on food items. Bought a loaf of fresh bread while we were there and it was super soft and had a nice flavour.

Been here several times on our lap of Tassie. Best sausage rolls I've ever had and the ladies are always smiling and friendly. 10/10 recommend!

Fantastic "proper" cake shop they also have pies egg bacon rolls and other yummy treats and coffee -Lovely hot coffee and everything was fresh and the girls serving were really lovely

The range of food was good, the quality was excellent, plenty of parking both sides of the road and the service was great even though it was quite busy 👍

We had the Scallop & steak/pepper pies, and they were to die for. It was great comfort food on a cold and rainy day. MUST DO.

So much choice. Unfortunately no glutin free but I settled for a caramel slice-yum! Worth the payment later tonight. Hubby had an egg & Bacon pie. Would definately go again-get the peppermint, Cherry ripe or something else. A friend recommended the giant wagon wheels

Read good reviews of the place, so visited while driving by and collected a few cookies. Loved them. Friendly staff and good experience overall.

Eclair was delicious - the chocolate was dark and the cream super light!

This was my first visit to the bakery and I was really impressed to see the high quality and well displayed range of savoury and sweet options at a good price .
The lady that served us was really friendly and patient .
We tried a few baked goods and they where delicious especially the baked cheese cake and cream lamington
