Meriton Suites Southport

Stayed here for 2 months, it was amazing staying here.
The rooms were cleaned regularly, the room was big and the view was amazing.
The portable cot was great for my daughter and there was plenty of space to have her set up in the bedroom with me.
The outdoor was amazing and the water temperature was never too cold.
The indoor pool temperature was quite cold but still pleasant to use.
The kitchen worked a treat and the Landry made living in the hotel for 2 months easy.
Watching the sunrise and set was amazing I didn’t close blinds once.

I’ve been staying at this hotel fortnightly for the past 6 months on a work secondment and can’t rate it highly enough. The rooms are well equipped and the bed is divine. Cool and quiet and perfect. But the real reason for my review is the beautiful staff. Georgia, Amy and Michael in particular. Nothing was too much trouble and I always looked forward to seeing your smiling faces. The staff who ran up a pillow or a blanket were also so lovely. And the bathroom products a real treat. Can’t recommend highly enough. Thank you.

We had a wonderful stay at Meriton Southport! On arrival we were greeted by a highly professional and accommodating staff member. Requested a room on one of the highest floors and received one on 49th floor. The view on the ocean was mesmerizing! Definitely recommend the Mini Ocean Suite with balcony! Apartment was spacious, modern, bed was comfortable and had a great view to the city and partially ocean. Were able to cook ourselves delicious meals with the utensils provided and enjoyed our dinners on the balcony. Many amenities provided, 1min from a Woolworths and nice café. Close to other restaurants, 2min from the tram station which goes to busy Surfers/Broadbeach and everything else in a short time. Only getting to the "nicer" beaches and more chill areas, such as Burleigh, Tugun, Currumbin etc took longer (~30-45min) as you're further to the north.

Extended our stay and moved to a hinterland suite (28th floor) for one night. That one was cozy and nice too. However, the view wasn't worth the price as you were basically looking into other buildings right accross the street. We had to keep the curtains closed as you could literally see into the rooms of the other building.

Overall amazing stay with maybe the only real downpoint being the fact that some areas inside the apartment such as kitchen utensils, cupboards and floors could have been a little cleaner.

Love it here. Great for work or pleasure. Have stayed in every kind of room in the north tower except 2 bedroom and even the hinterland rooms have great views.

Went for extended family holiday wanting multiple room configurations. Meriton accommodated our needs. Great rooms. Beautiful views. Short tram ride outside your door to inner Surfers CBD without all the noise when sleeping. Indoor and outdoor pools, with BBQ if you are keen.

I stayed at this Meriton Suites Southport in February with my daughter. It's has a great view and good service. We spent great time on the Gold Coast and Southport. I also remember one of the staff members named RISHI. He was gentle and nice. He showed me the best service in Gold Coast accommodation.

Stayed here for 5 days in an ocean view 40th floor suite. Amazing views, beautiful balcony overlooking the marina and ocean. Managed to check in 5 hours early! Front desk staff were always helpful and polite. The TV in the lounge wouldn't connect to allow us to stream, maintenance attended quickly and we ended up with a replacement TV and two chocolate bars :) Thanks Bill! Will definitely stay again 5*

We stayed in a one bedroom hinterland apartment over Aus Day long weekend and have had an awesome time! The rooms were clean and spacious, and the location is super convenient. The front desk staff have been so accommodating and helpful, they definitely deserve praise for offering fantastic customer service! The only downside is the internet has been a bit spotty, otherwise we definitely plan to stay again sometime in the near future!

We stayed in the mini ocean suite and it was perfect! There for 6 nights and I felt like our own little apartment. The location is perfect with a metro woolies right under the hotel, which I must say was super convenient as we had all cooking utensils we could use to cook within the room to save some money. The Guest Service staff where always so helpful when ever we needed something. Easy driving distance to local attractions and surrounding areas.

Wonderful experience here at Meriton Southport. Really convenient location, especially with the Woolies in the ground level. Great if you want to have a more quiet time away from the hustle and bustle of Surfers. Amazing views, rooms are clean and well furnished. Staff are extremely willing and helpful- had an issue with the aircon in our room, so without hesitation they put us in another room. Also willing to give top up supplies as needed. Overall great experience and good price.

We stay here almost every time we go to the GC, and it never disappoints! On our last stay, we were upgraded to a 2-bedroom with a balcony and a bath - having breakfast out on the balcony overlooking the water was a highlight of our trip. There was a maintenance issue with the shower but it was rectified immediately. Huge thanks to the staff!

Was a place to stay out of convenience. Room/apartment was really nice. Was nice having a coffee machine to wake up to.
The cafe downstairs (outside the door and on your right) does great breakfast!

Great location. Away from the hustle of town but close enough to get to. Tidy, clean, comfortable rooms with great views. Carpark was super useful. Service and facilities were top notch. I'd come back if I needed to come to gold coast again. Thanks team!

Amazing place with beautiful views! I was out on the 49th floor and facing main beach. The canal views were spectacular. I kept my curtains open throughout my stay as I was lulled to sleep with the stars and the reflecting moonlight, greeted with the rising sun from the horizon. A wonderful month long experience.

Lovely spacious one bedroom apartment. Don't pay extra for a Broadwater view. Book the Hinterland room 3401 where you will get mountain views but the bedroom has an amazing view north capturing the Broadwater and spit.

Wow! What an absolutely brilliant place this Meriton Suites is.

My holiday experience started off with Meriton Suites 5 star looking lobby where I was met by a very professional but so very friendly front counter staff member by the name of Alix.
I was arrived earlier than my check-in time so Alix was more than happy to put my bags in storage while I went for a wee stroll around the local area while they completed their final check of my room before contacting me not long after that to say that my room was ready. :-)

They had me on the 48th floor which surprised me as I didn't realise the Meriton Suites building had that many floors. They give you 2 security access cards that gives you access into the lifts/suite floor which is handy if there's more than one person.

When you press your access card against the scanner, your floor is automatically entered (including access to the other building facilities floor such as the swimming pool / gym / spa if you wanted to partake of those amenities). You just press your floor number as confirmation and when you enter the lift, there's no other buttons for you to press because the lift has it automatically programmed. So there's no other lift buttons in the lift other than the open/close/phone for assistance.

I was stunned when I first entered my suite because I was expecting 1 large room with an en-suite attached. But this place is on a different level.
I guess this is why the rooms are called a 'suite' because it comes with such huge spaces that it makes my 2 bed rental back in Melbourne feel small :-(.

1 bedroom with a King size bed, en-suite bathroom and balcony,
A separate internal lounge with sofa / tv
A fully equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, oven/cook top, dishwasher, 2 sink basin, plenty of counter top space with a breakfast edge
A separate dining area on one side with a work desk on the other wall
A separate lounge area with 3 seat sofa and 2 single cushion chairs
A balcony overlooking the lagoon/beach front
And of course air conditioning through out

Surrounding the Meriton are a number of eateries ranging from your normal cafe (for your morning coffee / breakfast selections) to a Woolies supermarket and then restaurants (Vietnamese, Greek, Thai, Italian).

The staff (especially Alix {yes, I'm pushing for her to get a pay rise haha!}) are very knowledgeable with regards to local tourist attractions etc so be sure to chat with them.

I am definitely recommending The Meriton Suites as a suitable accommodation for anyone wanting to visit the Gold Coast for work or pleasure.

I will definitely be returning.

But this is amazing.
Very spacious rooms, excellent reception, I am happy I chose this for my short stay at Gold Coast.

Meriton Gold Coast is top notch. The rooms are suites and large. Full kitchens, washers and dryers. The VIEWS are Spectacular. If you are expecting typical USA room cleaning don't. Reception/front desk will provide but it's just as easy to do it yourself. I recommend this establishment. It's fantastic.

Stayed several times and this time was no different. Still exceptional. This time the apartment seemed like really good value at $210 for the first night of the Queensland school holidays. Great location for what we needed to do and we're sure to be back.

We had an excellent stay here. Great price and room was lovely.
