Puddle Cafe

Tried for the first time and now have to go back to try other crumpets on the menu. Really love how they do their chai lattes as well, proper chai tea with cardamom, etc with frothed milk. Will be back for more.

An awesome place for tea and crumpets. Yes, you read that right, crumpets. Cooked to order, they are absolutely delightful.

With plenty of parking on the Flemington Road service road or alongside the cafe, you should really give them a shot.

Take your doggo along. They have some nice shady spots for your pup to rest while you have a crumpet and coffee and there's always water available.

Such a lovely place !! Alicia and Jan (sorry if I misspelt/misremembered your names) are very kind and friendly, and I had a great time chatting with them. The French toast crumpet was delicious; I’ve only ever had store bought crumpets but they’ll never match up to how fantastic Puddle Cafe’s crumpets are! Also, the latte was great 😊

Had a great breakfast there. Had a lovely crumpet with patched egg and not too much hollandaise sauce. Would highly recommend visiting for a meal of their great coffee.

When I heard Puddle Cafe was all about crumpets I didn't understand the hype. Having tried 3 of their breakfast menu options now, I can say I'm a huge fan. The food is excellent and at a good price. Coffee is great. Really enjoyed the meal and it's nice and close!!!

We caught the tram from Gungahlin to try a new experience. Excellent customer service! Looks like a boutique family affair. Café had a really comfortable and welcoming feel. The poached eggs were spot on. Crumpets, absolutely yum! We will be back for sure.

I had a lovely apple crumble crumpet, which was absolutely delicious. I definitely will go back to try other crumpets. Coffee was good too.

Stopped in for a coffee and light breakfast. The espresso was gorgeous, and I am super picky about my espresso.

Had poached eggs on sourdough. Delicious. Thank you Puddle. I would definitely recommend.

Went there for some much needed brunch after having a few not so good days. We had the apple crumple crumpet and the toadstool crumpet - absolutely delicious! It truly brightened our day. When the chef passed me the toadstool crumpet we remarked on how the egg was perfect and she replied “oh I am not too sure” - I hope you are able to see how wonderful your food is! We were just constantly remarking about how delicious it was the whole time! Can’t wait to come back!

I had the pleasure of having breakfast at the Puddle this morning and enjoyed their wonderful Bacon and egg muffin, the egg was runny and made a little mess but boy was it great. No photo I ate it all. Topped up with a great coffee,I will definitely be having breakfast again at the Puddle. 🤩

Ordered the french toast crumpet - and loved it. Staff even helped my 2 year old with some crayons and paper.

Housemade CRUMPETS!! Wow they didn’t disappoint. Cool new cafe in my local area... sorry I waited so long. Clean fresh & friendly. I’ll be back 🙂

The attention to detail in every aspect at Puddle is next to none.

This is the second time we have visited this delightful little cafe which has a cosmopolitan but intimate atmosphere and decor.,
Today however, we had grandchildren with us who require special diets. I approached the staff with a bit of trepidation as I needed a different request for each child. I was put at ease, nothing was too much trouble and we were even provided a special alternative to butter.
The crumpets are just so tasty and the creations are varied. The apple crumble muffins were delicious, and the coffee is great too, but for me it was the friendliness and care that really won me over.

Delicious and then some! This little cafe tucked around the corner is a hidden gem. The fresh crumpets are something special and mine was served with perfectly cooked poached eggs. Great service and very welcoming, we'll be back!

This was my first visit and boy oh boy it won't be the last. The whole experience was wonderful, staff friendly and efficient, the food impeccable and the price affordable. I can't wait to share this with all my friends. I had the Apple crumble Crumpet and to me it was perfect. I am looking forward to trying more on the menu. Congratulations on a wonderful business xxxx
