Hunter Gateway Motel

We travelled on a 43+ degree day and arrived early. To our surprise the room was ready, and the air con was on blasting which was great to arrive too. The room was spacious, clean and modern looking. There is a pool too which is great. We did have an issue with our door handle sensor breaking when we arrived back from the christmas lights at 11pm. The reception does close overnight so we called the emergency number, we got through quite quickly and she said security are on their way but it could be a 45 minute wait. This was no issue we were happy to wait. When security arrived the gate to get through to the back of the rooms was locked, which meant that my husband needed to climb a fence to gain access to our room again. We left our door propped open after that as the handle was completely dead. Its a safe complex and there was no issues with us leaving the door open to go for a swim.

Great place to stay. Perfect service. Nice clean spacious room. Everything was working.. It was really nice quiet unit would definately recommend.

Great modern room in a handy location next to the Bradford Hotel and shops. Heated swimming pool is good too. Recommended.

One night stay for work. Both rooms were clean & comfortable. Proximity to the pub for a meal & Maccas for a very early breakfast is a bonus. Bottle shop across the road. What more could you want on a quick work stop over.

The service my baby and I received was amazing. We needed emergency accommodation due to flooding and a hospital transfer. They supplied a microwave, extra towels, cutlery and plates so that we wouldn’t need anything. The staff are caring and considerate going above and beyond. Rooms comfortable and clean. Would stay here again.

To begin with the location was fantastic with so many food options close by. The room itself was so clean and looked brand new, bed was good, shower was amazing.The fact that everything in the mini fridge was free was very impressive and something that never happens. Our room also included breakfast and the breakfast was just right, heaps of fruit and cereals to choose from. Overall it was a great night to stay here and we would highly recommend staying here. Only 20 minutes from Hunter Valley too! We would definitely stay they again

Efficient check in by warm front desk receptionist. Nice quiet rooms with good decor and comfy beds. The nespresso machine and pods was great! Lots of parking. Easy to find. Good meals next door at the Bradford Hotel. I stayed as part of a work conference, but if I was paying I would have thought it was good value for money.

Very family friendly and clean motel. We stayed just for one night and were super happy! Modern interior, at the time great special with free mini bar content and a welcome red wine bottle.

Overall a great stay for just under $130 a night! Top notch and would stay here again.

The room was quite spacious and clean. The staff offered us early check in as we happened to arrive early. This place is just across Maccas and oporto so we do not have to travel far for food. The breakfast buffet next day was quite good and widespread.

I've stayed here several times over a period of 8 years. Rooms and facilities are good. Never any problems with parking and the staff always helpful and friendly.
The Bradford Hotel (pub) has adjoining carparks and is within 70m walk. Food at the nearby pub is good, however the facilities are average and pub security staff are unsatisfactory. I worked in club/pub industry for 18 years and know good from bad.

Staff were lovely, the rooms were beautiful and the venue was only a 100m walk from a local pub where we had dinner and drinks. I was impressed by the cleanliness and modern layout of the room and the bathroom was spacious with a good mirror!

Clean, quiet and very friendly staff. The girl reception was so helpful and informative when asked that I was blown away. Highly recommend and a great price! Short drive to the vineyards. Also a short strol to the neighboring pub which has amazing food. Heading there again for di nee tonight!

This place is fantastic, clean rooms, great customer service and a complimentary Mini Bar.

If you're staying in the hunter valley, you can't go past this place!

Beautiful place to stay. Lovely, friendly staff. Spacious clean, comfy rooms. Very comfy beds! And so much detail. Loved the little provided laundry bag. Great idea.

We have stayed at The Hunter Gateway a fair bit.
It is reasonably priced.
We love to eat at out at the Hotel next door the Bradford.
The food is great and well priced.

Lovely, helpful staff. We never felt like we were staying at a motel at all, the room was very clean and comfortable. Comes with a fridge, coffee maker (no microwave), and air-conditioning/heater.

This is really the "Best Western" hotel I have been too. Friendly Staff, Beautifully Clean Room, The Attention to detail was superb. They Looked after 25 of us like we were family. Thank you Chris and Janeen for looking after us like family. We'll be back.

This is a beautiful motel. We had a deluxe king bed room. It was very clean and spacious with a big bathroom and awesome shower. We will definately stay here again.
