Sandy Point Beach Reserve

Awesome free camp with a lovely view, nice clean toilets and many bins available. Highly recommend the Bushy Bend bush walk as well, takes about an hour to walk to the end and back but is well worth it with artwork and information on the way.

What a great free camp with lovely, clean toilets. They even supply toilet paper, soap and hand towels. Very popular spot. Lots of other campers here mid week. Will definitely head into town to spend some $$$. Would love to come back and spend more time here.

Awesome free camp, only toilets (always clean). Showers at Tourist Information Centre in town. Hay is a very friendly town 😁.

What a great setup. Very good place to stop, clean toilets and great BBQ facilities.

Hot in the middle of the day in summer, but there are good facilities - shelters, tables and seat, enough for many groups.

We absolutely loved Hay… an amazing town with even more amazing people who helped us and friends out immensely.

From the bakery, to the pub to the guys from Ampol.

Our Hay experience was looking very bleak until you all band together to make the impossible posible.

Very busy due to proximity to town and boat ramp

Was closed with barriers. Granted it has been really rainy on the trip in. I’m giving it a two because of the barriers, if someone tried to drive in there they very likely could get bogged. Puddles and mud. Also right beside the river soo could be flood risk. Looks great if it was dry
