The owner is a wonderful, friendly, polite and a very welcoming person, and the service is very attentive.

We loved the satay chicken, Mongolian chicken, fried rice, dim sums, and char siu pork, everything was simply mouthwatering and very satisfying to eat.

Located conveniently in the tow centre of Yea, do stop over here on your way to the Mt. Buller for lunch/dinner.

Eddie's Chinese is the best in this area, especially the more traditional Chinese dishes, sweet and sour pork, black bean beef, chicken and corn soup, the tofu dish, the fish dish, and the fried rice plus many others. I don't understand some of the negative comments here.. why are you ordering Malaysian in a Chinese restaurant, then complaining that it wasn't done in a Malaysian way? Duhl!

This is a classic Cantonese restaurant, and reminds me of the one's we frequent as a child. Friendly service and we're always greeted with smiles from Sarah and Eddie.

Stay away if you don't like Cantonese Chinese food, there's plenty of pubs and roast chicken shops nearby if that's more suited to your palate.

Fantastic country Chinese restaurant. Food was really tasty and super fresh. Well cooked vegetables and tender steak. We had the Pepper Chicken, super tasty, the Cantonese Fillet Steak, very tender and roast pork stir fry, yummy.
Great service with friendly staff. Food was served quickly. Great place to stop on your way up to Mt. Buller.
We drive a Tesla, so stopped for a charge and dinner. Would highly recommend this restaurant when your next in Yea.

Can confirm, the dim sims live up to the hype on the ‘dim sims 4 lyf’ facebook group.
Haven’t had anything else from here though, this review is specifically for the dim sims (go for the fried).

The lovely gentleman who served us was attentive, friendly and prompt.

Eddy the waiter was so friendly and attentive (extra napkins/water refills/etc) and the food was the best, heaps of it and came really quickly. 10/5 experience can’t wait to come back.

Nice restaurant. The service was very good. Lovely friendly people who went out of their way to adjust food to our various issues and made us feel like it was no troubel. Food was nice enough but not amazing. But for a country Chinese restaurant it was what I expected.

fantastic experience whether you dine in or take food home. the inside is peaceful and the seats are comfy. generous serving size and delicious food. i especially recommend their spicy chicken or beef+black bean dishes. 10/10

Yea Chinese is our family’s favourite in Yea. Ingredients (and prawn crackers) are always fresh and the owners have a faithful clientele. The staff here are polite and the place is always neat and clean. You can dine in or takeaway but I suggest booking as the restaurant is small.

Great lunch for a table of twelve. Delicious food and friendly service. Highly recommended.
