Lovely place to sit and eat overlooking the Danube playing Backgammon

Lovely restaurant and very friendly staff. We had already eaten but chose to come here for dessert and it didn't disappoint. We sat outside with a lovely view of the danube and had apple strudel which was delicious. Would highly recommend a visit!

A wonderful restaurant with great staff!
I work for an event agency so we're always looking for good locations and this is one of the best. The owner and staff is friendly and incrediyhwlpfull, professionals through and through. If your visit Vienna via river cruise it's a must see visit, conviniently it is located right next to the Danube and close to the drop off point of said river cruises

This was by far the best place I have eaten during my time in Austria.

I ordered the salmon dish, and it was just cooked so perfectly and was a big portion. It came with a side of choice, so I opted to have the fried bacon potatoes and. I was really satisfied.

The staff and service were spledid, and they were so polite and helpful.

The restaurants name speaks for itself, it has a fantastic view. I absolutely could not reccoemnd this place enough.

Great place to rest and enjoy the view. Foods are really delicious and employees are so kind. Besides, St. Francis of Assisi Church is located just next to The View Cafe. You can also visit there after your rest.

Deep house/trance plays while you overlook the river and dine on scrumptious Viennese cuisine like Chicken wienersnitzel. It's actually a lot of food, so bring your appetite.

Beautiful restaurant on the river with amazing food. We could watch the yachts docking while wrapped up in the cozy blankets they provided.

The homemade pasta was incredible, especially accompanied by the view of the Danube.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, the service was excellent, the view is beautiful, prices are reasonable, and most importantly, the food was absolutely delicious!

We mentioned that one of us was gluten free and couldn’t eat the burger bun, and without us having to ask, the server not only brought out some gluten free bread along with the regular bread basket, but also provided a gluten free bun with said burger.

Best meal we had in Vienna.
