Beautiful garden park with lots of attractions and different kind of animals. Perfect place for a picnic, there are big playgrounds, two cafes and toilets. It has a huge parking place but take your bike.

This place is small but still very beautiful and amazing. The humidity in air here is very high, and it feels so good to breath there. It's very well built . There are also some animals to watch. I liked it .

Very pleasant park area with different parts. Its a mini zoo of domestic cattle there, tiny Indian garden, tiny Chinese garden, tiny Japanese area with sacuras and big stones, a lot of flower beds and special areas for children.

Very nice park with zones designed in different styles with numerous kinds of trees and flowers. There are a lot of playgrounds for kids, but all of them are for children under 7 years old.

A very beautiful park to visit during spring/summer. They have an absolutely amazing playground for children and some animals to see. Lunch tables are free to use, and there also is a "Heuriger" in the park. The gophers are running around the place and do get quite close, very interesting for the little ones.

We visited this amazing garden on 26/03/2023. Great maintained garden with big variety of plants. It is a slightly early to see all flowers and trees but still it was very beautiful.
P.s. it is for free!

The best surprise of Vienna. Not well-known, free of charge and just gorgeous; suitable even for families with little children and/or handicapped.

A relaxing experience. There are themed gardens as if you're on different destinations - Mexico, India, China, etc. Enjoy various sceneries, observe animals, and just chill.

Not crowded when I went here on a Saturday :)

Spring 2022:
More is open now and we were able to visit more areas of the Gardens. There is also food and drink available!

Spring 2021:
An absolutely magical place.
I can highly recommend this place in the Springtime when all the gorgeous tulips are out in full bloom around the grand garden. It is so absolutely lovely to see. There's also a large magnolia tree that blossoms a beautiful pink!

We didn't receive the full experience, as we went during lockdown on a stroll through the gardens. So we missed out on the palm house and the other areas that are generally open but were closed due to restrictions due to covid-19. We will go back for sure to visit what we missed.

There are themed gardens, which we thoroughly enjoyed. We especially liked the Mexican and Asian Gardens. Stunning! The Mexican garden needed a bit of tending to, but otherwise was in good shape.

We saw a cute owl, a baby sheep and other cute animals running around the property. Something that resembles a prairie dog.

Lovely place to stroll around especially on Spring and Summer time because of the wide variety of flowers in full bloom. But of course the best part for me is the play area for the kids. My daughter can stay there the whole day playing.

Great flower and nature park in the middle of busy Vienna. Very nicely kept with spots for having a small picnick, small petting zoo for kids and u can even see small ground squirrels running around. Really nice and enjoyable to walk around and enjoy some hours off there ...absolute recommendation, with kids, family, friends, alone, etc

Very beautiful garden. Highly recommend for a visit with the family and little kids.
Best time to visit would be the spring so you can enjoy the different types of flowers available.

Amazing place to spend a summer evening, great for hiperactive kids as well as for the flora lovers of all ages.
L.E. Why they close this place at 6 p.m. in the summer is something I'm not capable to understand.😠

amazing place, we went there just to see what it actually is but then sayed there for hours because it is full of different places just in small. A mini Mexican village, a mini zoo, a mini place to marry, it is wheelchair accessible, and most places can be visited.
I recommend it to anyone who just wants to spend some time and enjoy.

I highly recommend this botanical garden to locals and tourists.
A place to recharge your energy at any time of the year. Beautifully arranged flowers and plants. Playgroud for small children, a small "beach" area with deckchairs to relax for adults.
In December awesome indoor Christmassy exhibitions (a must-see for local people and visitors to Vienna)
And last but not least, the entrance to the garden is free of charge.

Came across the Christmas exhibit here at Blumengärten Hirschstetten. Very well presented exhibit of Winter and Christmas traditions across Austria and even neighbouring countries. Free entry, you just need the usual '2G' covid evidence that is required in Vienna (ie your Vacc Cert or evidence of recovery).
