This place is a musician‘s (or even music enthusiast‘s) wet dream 🤩 they have so many instruments in a wide price range, and each department has knowledgeable people working in it who are friendly and patient. I have always been able to take my time trying stuff out there and never felt pushed to make a decision or buy something, although I most often did. Highly recommend checking this place out!

It's the go-to place for anything you need. The store is set up incredibly well, try out things, get advice from very competent staff... Repairs too. Never had a bad experience.

I was in Vienna for my vacation and mu phone discharged when I was in this shop. So the guys saved me and found for me an android charger, so I easily got back to my hotel with google maps assistance. Guys, you are the best ❤

What an amazing music shop, with loads of shiny guitars and equipment to test, many individual testing rooms for guitars, and one massive room with tens of amplifiers to try. Makes you want to go back to the pre amazon era.

Amazing store! You can touch, try, play all the instruments. There are even sound isolated rooms for playing electro/bass guitars. Prices are quite ok compared to the internet. We have bought our first Roland drum set here. It is huge with 2 floors. Here one can absolutely find anything needed for the music or just have some fun trying out the instruments!

Perhaps one of my favorite music shops in the world. Situated inside a historic building, we wandered this store looking for an acoustic guitar and electric bass.

Literally spent a couple hours trying dozens of instruments and no employee bothered us with a “can I help you?” and just allowed us the space and time to try out various instruments. That said, there are employees all around ready to help if asked. Prices are competitive and their stringed instrument selection is massive.

Didn’t find my perfect guitar, but worth a visit!

One of only a few really big and music stores in Vienna. Kind and competent staff. Fun place to pick something up or just dream.

Excellent concert place

Searching for anything related to music, instruments, speakers, microphones? U’ll probably find it here. Also synthesizers, studio monitors, DJ equipment … I was impressed by there inventory. Also great you can try the synthesizers and have them in hand which is great because usually you dont get to do that because not many physical stores sell them. Also great consulting by the people who work there they answered all my questions

I can highly recommend Klangfarbe for purchases to the UK. I bought a guitar from them (a pretty high end Ibanez) and they were super helpful over emails with exceptional English language skills. The purchase was easy and I can also highly recommend the FedEx international priority shipping which although expensive at €200 had my guitar in my hands within 36 hours of my purchase and all duties paid for effortlessly via a text link prior to delivery.
My guitar was perfectly packaged with an outer and inner box plus the case. The only thing to be aware of is the payment method, I got stung pretty badly by the PayPal exchange rate but this was no fault of the shop.
I would buy from Klangfarbe again without hesitation.
