Austrian and Hungarian tipycal food.
The food is very good, the staff is very nice and the price is good.
If you are in Wien, you must go there.

What a find! My wife and I loved your gasthaus with authentic Viennese charm, without any unnecessary renovation. The service was excellent, friendly and accommodating of our meagre German (!), and the food... Schnitzel great value, and with vegetarian choices too (including perch or hake). Highly recommended!

Authentic looking Austrian pub/bar, definitely used by locals. 2 hearty meals with soft drinks was less than €30!

Local, immersive, place with delicious food and friendly staff. Need to be able to read the menu in German, but apart from that can't go wrong by going there.

I came randomly, but was a great choice. Authentic atmosphere (average locals meeting there for a beer), good food with fair prices and helpful workers. Good option after getting off from Flixbus.

THE PORTIONS ARE HUGE! €14.90 gets you a nice slab of spare ribs with chili sauce, tartare sauce and potato wedges. €9.50 gets you a large are of fried chicken liver which is very delicious! The restaurant is a cosy and clean pub with nice lighting at lunchtime. Would skip the €3.50 beef soup as it just tastes like salt water.

100% Austrian bar, very cool beer and dishes. It places near to international bus station. Not so expensive, and have a big portions. Very cosy interior, a lot of local guests, and kind host will make you feel like in a true pub!

Cozy, traditional place, with awesome food and amazing Austrian wines. I had the fried chicken liver and when I come back to Vienna, I'm pretty sure I will swing by just to have it again. On top of that, the service was great :) great job, Gasthaus Bauer!

This is an old viennies gasthaus. Very interesting for tourist. Quality is good an the prices are normal. Interiors are looks like 60 years ago

Man, war das lecker 😋 , sind gleich am nächsten Tag nochmal hin. Die Portionen sind großzügig, aber ein Nachtisch hat trotzdem noch reingepasst. Der Service ist sehr herzlich und charmant . Die Einrichtung ist etwas rustikal, vielleicht auch etwas in die Jahre gekommen ,aber lasst euch davon nicht irritieren. Es war immer gut besucht.
Für uns ein unbedingtes Muss, wenn wir wieder in Wien sind. 💯🥰

Urig und etwas versteckt gelegen. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und lieb! Beide Gerichte waren sehr üppig, super gewürzt und wir waren fast am platzen. Den empfohlenen Kuchen (der nicht auf der Karte stand) haben wir aber nicht ausschlagen können. Und Gott sei dank haben wir uns diesen Gaumenschmauß nicht entgehen lassen. Er zerging quasi auf der Zunge und war warm 😍. Auf Nachfrage haben wir erfahren dass er selbstgemacht war.
Ich kann dieses Lokal nur empfehlen! Ich bin 10kg schwerer aber glücklich rausgelaufen 😅

Es ist mir immer wieder eine Freude zum Franz und zur Gabi zu gehen!! An Freundlichkeit nicht zu übertreffen!! Essen ist hervorragend,Riesen Auswahl an Speisen!! Großartig!
