Outstanding Austrian Experience!

Finding truly authentic Austrian food in Vienna can be tricky, but Żur Grunne Hate absolutely delivered! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.

We opted for the classics and it was melt-in-your-mouth tender. The side dishes were delicious as well, especially the creamy potato salad and the tangy sauerkraut.

We finished the meal with a delightful slice of apple strudel, the perfect ending to a perfect meal. This restaurant is a must-visit for anyone looking for a taste of true Viennese cuisine.

Best of our visit was our host Angelo. He is amazing and can advise best from the menu. Thank you!!!

Italian couple during an holiday in Wien. We have been here twice. The food was very good, in an easy but nice location just near the Prater. The quality/price ratio is excellent. The best wiener schnitzel we had in Wien. The chocolate cake was amazing!

I ended up here because it’s close to my hotel and nothing else was open in the area for dinner, as I came at about 9pm. I had the original Austrian schnitzel and it was amazing! The servers were classy, soft-spoken, offering good recommendations for food and beer. It doesn’t look like much from outside, but the inside is fancy and the service is excellent.

Pleasant place with absolutely delicious food. Schnitzel was huge and I had deer medailons with red cabbage that were amazing.

Came here as my friend recommended it to me. The food and service were excellent and our waitress went above and beyond when serving us. Will definitely be back again if we’re in Vienna.

We just landed in Austria an were looking somewhere to eat.. apparently lot of things are closed on Monday
At 20:00 we found this gem "Zur grünen Hütte" quite ,good background music ,were told to seat wherever we want and immediately we received the menus ,we didn't wanted a big meal so we choose a Hausgemachte Grammelknödel auf Gabelkraut (potato dumplings stuffed with greaves on sauerkraut) and the beef soup ,both were perfect,the prices are decent ,and the service with a smile and welcoming ,we heard from the kitchen someone bashing ,I think they were preparing the Schnitzel🤭 we are definitely coming back for it

Delicious food and great place. Maybe you won't find it in a tour guide but it is definitely a must in your Vienna visit. And don't forget the desserts, they are also delicious!!

This cozy restaurant is close to our hotel so we decided to have our first dinner in Vienna here and it did not disappoint! The original wiener schnitzel was really good, highly recommend it. Plus the waiter is super nice and friendly. Will definitely come back again!! 😊

The wiener schnitzel was amazing. We had the Original and one in Sauce, both were awesome also the potatoe salad that it comes with on the Original was incredible. The grand finale was the Apple strudel. Wow

Traditional Austrian dishes very well cooked! Schnitzel was amazing! Panacota was unbelievable! I do not drink alcohol, but my friends were glad by drinks and wine.

Tasty food, friendly waiter, cosy and nice :) beautiful Hydrangeas paniculatas planted in the terrace.

Very nice place. The food was very good, with the best traditional Austrian options.

The salmon and strudel were excellent (some of the best we have eaten). Our waiter was most pleasant with just the right balance between attentiveness and allowing us to enjoy the evening air. Strongly recommend.

This restaurant is just tremendous. The atmosphere here is terrific. You can eat inside or outside. Either way you’re going to enjoy your drinks and meal. We met the owner he was a very nice man. I had a veal schnitzel and it was out of this world. The wine he recommended was delicious. It’s right next to the subway so it’s very accessible and convenient to get to. I would recommend you visit this restaurant when your in Vienna,Austria you’re not going to regret it.

Best meal in Vienna! I recommend the Viennese style entrecote. We hopefully will be back before we leave!

Let me tell you this place deserves more than 5*. The food is beyond tasty and perfect. I work in hospitality industry and i want to be treated the way i treat people, well…the service was impeccable, the young guy that served me was really polite and his English was really good as well which is a plus for those who can’t speak german. If you ever come to Vienna put this one on your list. Bye now

Excellent food and service. 5 of us had 4 differing dishes and all were superb. I recommend the veal wiener schnitzel.
