Best place to contemplate the mountain in Sapa after a ride.
Some places at the top of the road, you can visit with 20k and take tons of beautiful photos.

20 minutes bike ride for Sapa.
Worth the trip as the panorama is scenic.
The road over O Quy Ho pass has been upgraded making the trip easier for tourists on scooters.

The ride is beautiful and scenic. The road is in good condition except for a very small patch that's under construction. At the Google maps waypoint, there is a hill you have to pay 80k to go up. I decided that was too much, as I could see the view from the road anyway.

I'll use this space to comment on visiting and going over the pass in general. The pass on its own is okay, but the next hour of riding afterward is stunning. Absolutely go and give yourself time to ride all the way down the other side. Wonderful scenery.
