Well apart from the unfortunate fact that my wife broke her ankle here it is a beautiful place. And, just to be sure, it is a safe place to walk as the break was a simple accident. But you can see how this might have been a problem as I carried her down the stairs finally getting a taxi to the local hospital. But don't let our experience stop you from going.

Unexpectedly, this was a really cool park. We were lucky that the clouds were low and in combination with the wind, it caused some really mysterious atmosphere.

The park starts off with some really weird statues that don't fit the environment in my opinion. But the gardens are pretty nice and the rock formation looks really cool.

If you walk to the top, you have a beautiful view over Sapa and to the mountain Fansipan.

Unfortunately, some people seem to leave all of their trash behind throughout the park. Terrible.

I think we paid 80.000 VND entrance per person, but that is totally worth it.

Tranquil nature area, very close to Sapa town. I visited in December but would like to see the roses in season. Definitely worth a visit

This garden is unique and large. You could easily spend 2-3 hours there. There are some beautiful flowers, stone garden, and even cave! The view from the top is beautiful as well. But, be aware that there are many steep steps.

There is an entrance fee of 70k vnd but I think it is worth it

Lovely park, a bit difficult to find. Find the church and then continue walking straight until you see a lot of stairs on the left. It will then take you to the entrance where you can buy a ticket. Its incredibly well maintained filled with beautiful flowers and some funky statues. If you keep following the path through the park to a section of countryside that is quite open, you'll pass a view huts with chickens and a fence. This will start you on the Ham Rong mountain trail, you'll also pass some buffalo! We went up for the sunset and saw them and their babies being herded in for the night. The view point is really cool and you can see most of the town from it.

The place was not too crowded when we visited near the end of the year. Be prepared to spend three hours or more if you want to visit or take photos of everything. A quick hike to the first “gate”, the “Cloud Yard”, and back will take less than an hour if you are in a hurry. The panoramic view of Sa Pa is beautiful.

Now it have to be said this was no directly Ham Rong, but a part of Sapa city overseeing it. We went to a restaurant called Good View (if I remember) and we just wanted a great lunch. But it ended up being an amazing lunch with and even more amazing view! These views you find from restaurants just by walking around in the smaller streets of Sapa. So please do take a little promenade through the small city, you will not forget it!

Great spot if you’re looking for something to do for a couple of hours on Sapa Town. While visibility was very limited on the day I ventured there, it was still really peaceful and enjoyable, with nice gardens and statues. I imagine the view is incredible on a clear day.

Entrance ticket is 70k dong per adult. The hike up was definitely worth the amount we paid for. I suggest sparing at least 2 hours and get yourself onto the Cloudyard which is your largest reward of the entire hike. You get to snap the whole of Sa Pa town area (if the weather is clear). Best to come here during spring as you may see plum/peach/cherry blossom flowers

Ham Rong Mountain is located in the center of Sapa town, only about 200m from the church, it takes about 5-10 minutes to walk.
Admission is 70k/adult.
It takes a lot of effort to climb up to the Cloud yard, where you can enjoy the panoramic view of Sapa town and Fansipan peak. In return, you will feel comfortable and fresh with the fresh air here. There are also many places to take photos such as flower gardens, heaven's gate, 12 animals, ... and also have time to enjoy the dances and songs of the Thai, Muong,...

I went up this mountain as a practice before trekking Fansipan mountain, it's probably not comparable to it in terms of physical intensity, time, etc., but it's certainly a site to behold if you can climb all the way up to the peak.

Great location for some breeze and of course, photography. The trekkking itself should be mild (or easy) for most people. But still, do wear some proper shoes as the steps can be slippery.

Git yo mountain on.

70k adult ticket price for an amazing experience, don't miss this attraction even on a foggy day it's well worth it. Climb all the way to the top for some stunning nature scenery.

Far better than I expected. If you want a walking adventure without straying out into the villages on a hike then this is an amazing place to explore. There are many paths to choose from and areas to relax. Amazing views, and although there are shops and cafes, it doesn't feel as touristy as elsewhere, as a lot is open gardens and mystery paths where I hardly saw any people.

A cool place, temperature wise, and a relaxing place with some fun statues (like Tom and Jerry, a tiger, and Scooby Doo) alongside lots of plants and flowers, and well maintained paths. You will probably see lots of elderly women doing slow, careful exercise, and you might be invited to join in.

Beautiful garden, worth to visit when you're in Sapa Town. A lot of rock formations, plants and weird statues from various cartoons. There are few places to sit, buy some drink and chill. There must be also an amazing view from the top, but there was a lot of fog, when we're there so didn't see much of the view.

Famous for Vietnamese, if you have time go climb there. You can see lots of trees, nice air, at the and quite good view. 😊
But,, here is NO Map, NO Sign, Don't have exactly road. Just follow your mood or your brain GPS 😅🙊
Even if hard to find get to the Top(because it doesn't much sign-like mission) can good experience and good trekking for yourself.

A very huge park /garden located just behind the Stone Church, best to visit in the evening. To truly enjoy the beauty of this place, recommend to allocate at least 4 hrs here. A stairs-hike to Cloud Yard and Heavens Gate is a MUST though may be tiring!!! Cloud Yard allows you to view the whole SAPA city while Heavens gate with the unique black stone formations allows you to get a closer view of the dragon-jaw-like mountain peak.

Excellent views of Sapa and the surrounds even when the valley is foggy. Only 70,000 VND per person entry and there are multiple WCs, snack stands and cafes on the meandering trails. Very few people there on a weekday so we had many trails to ourselves. Especially good lighting at sunset as the fog rolls back into town and the sun drops behind the mountains. Definitely worth the climb!

Nice and quiet place to explore. Need to pay entrance fee of 70.000 per pax, not too bad. Place is clean and the view from the look-out (follow “cloud yard” to get there) is great and provides a nice view over the city of Sapa. Paths are well maintained (but slippery when wet), and mostly stairs. Nice area for a good walk!

Good view of the mountains, calming and scenic views along the way. Away from waste-burn-construction-building air pollution in sapa town.

It’s right next to central square, conveniently accessible. Avoid tourist surcharge by taxi/grab Drivers.
