Pretty neat village with a nice waterfall area.

The waterfall is easy to miss as it's down a narrow path with stairs (no bikes). Ask the locals for directions - they're happy to help.

Waterfall is very pretty and there's several footbridges, stepping stones and vantage points for photos. Lots of doves.

There was a nice cat at the waterfall area.

Go if you have the stamina to be able to walk and climb steps around this picturesque village. It was raining and misty when I was there adding to the allure of the place. I feel you can see the village better during spring or summer. Don't wear white shoes there during autumn/winter as certain places there can be muddy.

A beautiful traditional village to enjoy the greenery, H'Mong culture and traditions in Sapa. The H'Mong ethnic people have lived in Cat Cat Village since the mid-19th century. In early 20th century, the French chose the village for officials to relax. There is a beautiful waterfall called CatScat in French so it become the name of village.

A scenic village with a lot of walking needed. Come with comfort and non slip shoes else you may fall on the slippery stone pavements if wet.

Nice place. It could use more segmentation. I would love to have a go at making the cloths that would indeed be an experience or try a go at farming. Understand how terracing works and how maintaing the facilities matter.

It was a great experince here, despite the transportation. The road was so rough and hard to passed. And the traffic jam quite bad around afternoon, so better arrives here in the morning.

Be careful for the prices for bike services, pls negotiate first, bcs the price quite high. I got 40.000 VND for two.

Buy the tickets here for 150.000 VND/person, then we can enjoy the village. Prepare your strength, the steps was quite slippery and going up and down, but worth the scenery. Beautiful and the weather was nice during winter.

There’s waterfall, tree houses (need to pay 10.000 VND to get inside), rent the Vietnamesse costume for 150.000 VND, also enjoy the places, buy souvenirs from local, also many cafes to sit and enjoy the scenery.

The trekking will take around 1-2 hours if you enjoy the each area, pls wear comfy shoes for walking comfortably here. And better take motorbike services to go and back from Sapa Central to arrival gate of Cat Cat Village to save energy. Prepare the cash also to pay.

Overall, this is must visit. I really enjoy my time here from 9 AM to 3 PM.

Very interesting villa, focused on tourism. It is a local attraction with a paid entrance. Locals do not seem to live here but people travel here to take pictures wearing the local tribe’s costume. The walk down is full of shops and costume rentals/sale. Once down in the town, there are waterfalls and about a dozen small cafe/restaurants and some kind of “set” designed to take traditional pictures. It is definitely a must see if you are in the area.

Definitely a touristy centered location but it was fun to check out and to see the waterfall at the bottom. There's also shops to rent some traditional clothing to take pictures in. Just be sure to watch your step going down and back up

Cat cat village is like a theme park. Lots of chances to take photos and if you are into buying commercial tourist gift you will have lots of chances. Lots of places feel like is still under construction. The main area is the falls. And it isn't just a fall, but river and building around. You don't need to join a tour to come. Actually it is better if you don't because a tour will only let you stay for half a day, but if you go yourself, you can easily spend 5 hrs here. Entrance fee is 150k at the main entrance, but it seems like there are other entry points that you may not need to pay.

It's a lot of steps. So you must be fit! It's going down then its going up unless you take a motorbike taxi. There's entry fee.
