Cao lầu Không Gian Xanh

I've eaten here several times in the past few days. Simply amazing. Wonderful owner in a 7th generation home. You know it's good when you might have a hard time finding a seat at lunch. I had everything on the menu except the chicken rice and mussels. Please excuse the shape of my wrap. I'm still learning.

Had the best Cao Lao here. Was honestly one of the best dishes I’ve ever had, such good flavour, texture and portion size. We went back four times (stayed in Hoi An for 5 nights)!

Such good value too.

We did order dumplings once but I wouldn’t recommend those. I think Cao Lao seems to be their niche.

Best food in Hội An with great portion sizes, authentic atmosphere and very well priced for the quality of food. We tried the Hội An speciality dish Cao lầu and it was well balanced with a generous amount of sauce. We also tried the Bún thịt nướng which I couldn’t recommend more. It is a must try if you are in Vietnam and this restaurant does it best. It was so delicious we went back multiple times throughout our stay in Hội An to eat it here. The meat was perfectly grilled with delicious seasoning, the herbs and salad were fresh and the dressing was well balanced. The Cao lầu is the the dish in the background of the first image and the Bún thịt nướng is the dish in the front of the first image and the second image.

Such lovely wonderful friendly staff and delicious food. One vegetarian option but is fantastic and so affordable 40k for bowl!! Delicious. Definitely recommend

Stumbled upon this unassuming family-run restaurant located down a narrow alley that is filled with eateries and cafes. The restaurant itself is located situated at the rear of the family home.

They have a limited menu but whatever is on the menu is delicious. I recommend the Grilled meat with rice paper which is a do-it-yourself spring roll. There is a method to preparing this dish and the waitress patiently demonstrated how to prepare it. Also recommended is the Grilled meat with noodles. In both dishes, the meat is grilled to perfection with a slight char.

The restaurant is frequented by locals which is testament to the quality of the food.

The food and value for money are exceptional. The beer was also really cold! Just what we needed. Oh, and the Cao Lau, wow!

First time trying the house specialty Cao lau and I loved it. It comes warm. We ordered the pork one. Delicious. We also ordered the dumplings, called rose. Super friendly and kind staff. They don’t speak much English but we managed to order what we wanted. Quick service. And cheap!

Vietnemese food is something different. Best pork i ever had. Grilled meat with rice paper the star.

Yes!! Stumbled on this place in an alley, on our way to another restaurant. Needless to say, we stayed here.
We had the Cao Lau and the rose dumplings, as well as herb iced tea. All super delicious, services fast, friendly, and cheap. Will return!

This place was so good that we went there three times in two days. It is arguably most famous for pork noodles. But the chicken rice and rolls are hidden superstars. The restaurant had a homely feeling about it and we took to it immediately. Had we stayed longer in Hoi An, we were sure most of our money would have gone here. Oh, and they have an absolutely wonderful coffee too (which is kinda expected).

This little restaurant is such a gem, serving Hoi An traditional specialty dishes with amazing value for money. Felt like I was in someone else's house, the aunt preparing all the dishes and even cordially teaches us how to make the wrap properly.

- Bánh Bao bánh Vạc (White Rose dumplings) 60,000 VND (4/5)

Everything was so delicious that we found it hard to complain about anything at this price point. Maybe cleanliness can be improved but otherwise a lovely place.

Local food at the heart of Hoi An. The place is clean. The noodles is good. The pork is very juicy. I prefer to put in a little bit extra of soy sauce into my noodles and a couple pieces of limes. It's my taste. My husband loves the crispy pork (I guess).

This is one of the best Cao Lau in Hoi An. Must try. Don't miss out this place in a small alley. They have other good food as well.

Local food and local prices. This gem is a bit hard to find, located in a small alley in the old town however it is in the center. Food is delicious, we ate here several times during our 3 days stay in Hoi An. They also offer free tea with the meals.

I don’t have a reference point when it comes to Cao Lau as this is the first time trying it, but damn, this is the best meal I’ve had so far in my soon to be three weeks in Vietnam. Would highly highly recommend. It’s fire. The dish is so balanced and flavorful. Will probably end up eating this all the time. Super value price as well.

Best Cao Lau I have tasted in Hoi An. The pork is very tasty. We ordered extra pork. Very reasonable price. This shop is at a hidden lane. Don't simply try any Cao Lao. You will be disappointed.

Enjoyed the Cau Lau noodles which were very flavourful as well as the white rose dumplings. The herbal drink is also a nice complement to these two dishes. Wasnt too much of a fan of the rice paper as I thought it was a bit plain.

Simple menu with really delicious authentic Vietnamese dishes hidden a smmall alley.
6-7pm is the best time to avoid crowds as i been there 3rd time before I'm able to find a table for 2.

I tried about 4 different restaurants serving cao Lao and this one was by far the best. Nice atmosphere the dumpling soup was also pretty good. Beer is cheaper than coffee! Dishes were cheap I think 40,000 vnd it is tucked down a smaller road off the main strip so quieter environment which was also nice

Recommended by many. Got to try it yourself. Family is very friendly. Try their Cao Lau!
