I love markets, this one is no exception. If you really want to experience a small local wet market this is a great one to explore. I went just after 6am one morning and was the only foreigner in sight! Most of the trinket shops are closed but dive deep later in the morning into the inside of the market to see how the locals procure their food, you won't regret it!

Very busy market with a huge variety of stall and shops. Well worth a visit as something for everyone. Lots of cafes as well so you can rest and shop. Very close to where all the boats are so we took an hours ride in one for 350k including a beer each, why not.

It was a great place to visit. Very active, full-on action everywhere. There was so much to do, visit temples, eat every type of cuisine, get bespoke garments, bags, and shoes, tailored for you. Our favorite dining experience was a beautiful old renovated chinese hotel/restaurant. And did i mention amazing lanterns? The stall and shop keepers were so courteous. They also seemed to enjoy our terrible bargaining skills.😄 we would definitely come back again.

The place with the most beautiful ambience, rich culture and people from all across the globe. You'll have a night that you will cherish for the rest of your life. Do bargain on anything you buy and carry a water bottle along. Also, right side consists of clubs mostly and left side is worth exploring

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Hoi An market and I must say, it was an incredible experience. The bustling atmosphere, the vibrant colors, and the tantalizing smells all combined to create an unforgettable sensory experience.

The market is a treasure trove of local handicrafts, clothing, and a wide variety of fresh produce. The vendors are friendly and welcoming, and I enjoyed interacting with them as I explored the different stalls. I was able to find some beautiful souvenirs to take home, including handmade silk scarves and intricate wood carvings.

One of the highlights of my visit was the food section of the market. The array of local street food was simply mouth-watering, and I savored every bite of the delicious banh mi and fresh seafood. The communal dining area provided a great opportunity to sit down and enjoy a meal while taking in the lively atmosphere of the market.

Overall, I was extremely impressed with Hoi An market. It's a great place to immerse yourself in the local culture and pick up some unique and authentic items. Whether you're looking for a tasty snack, a one-of-a-kind souvenir, or just want to soak up the vibrant atmosphere, I highly recommend a visit to Hoi An market. It's a must-see destination for anyone visiting Hoi An.

You simply can't visit Vietnam without going to Hoi An. Remember to bargain for better price though 😅.

Price for a car return trip from Da Nang to Hoi An should cost you around 600K VND in case you need a reference - this is 2024 price.

The crowd for a boat trip on local river is quite massive but the turn over is actually quite quick. You can ask the skipper to take photos, they are indeed very enthusiastic.

This place is my most favorite part of my 3-week Vietnam trip! The romantic and lively ambiance, the delicious food, the kind people, the beautiful old and well-preserved buildings. I would love to have the chance to retire here.

Vibrant market at Old town in Hoi An. Expect to spend the afternoon and the evening as you also visit the night market. Walking tours are available and cheap. Options for great tailoring, leather products, clothes, massages and curious are endless. Food options are divine! There are also personal rickshaw options and boat rides if you want.

Visiting the market in Hoi An was a unique experience. The bustling atmosphere filled with locals and tourists made it almost magical. Everywhere I looked there were delicious fruits, vegetables, and meats to choose from which all seemed very fresh compared to what I was used to at home. Even though I couldn't speak the language of the vendors, communication wasn't a problem - they were all friendly and helpful as could be! In the end, my baskets were overflowing with colorful goods that tasted just as good as they looked. The market in Hoi An is definitely worth checking out if you ever find yourself in Vietnam!

Not to be missed, make sure you are there for night time look at lanterns, very picturesque, safe area for walking about local people very friendly, they also like to upsell beware. If you are there around meal times I can recommend Lim restaurant, great food, great service.

Great vibe amongst the old style French and Chinese buildings, with plenty of fresh produce, you can see people making and drying dresh Mi Quang and Cao Lao noodles. Lots of quality food being cooked and sold also. A must in Hoi An!

Old city market with classic style buildings, lots of fishing boats anchored, lots of shops selling goods, market selling local snacks, there are also clothes and souvenirs and is very famous for the textiles with orders for clothing with various patterns and designs which are sewn in a very fast time, worth visiting, 💐🎊👍

Hoi An night market is another tourist attraction. You can buy local made jewellery, clothing, snacks, accessories, crafts etc from the market and be prepared to bargain. The streets are illuminated by hundreds of colourful lanterns and is also an ideal place for photos.

Lovely place but beware of the shopkeepers. They'll try to upsell the products, mostly 50% more than what you'd probably end up paying. I had to haggle a lot to get stuff at a reasonable price.

I'm a sucker for central markets which symbolize the heartbeat of any town.
From merchandise to food, they've got it all.
Hoi An Market was bustling, but I came here for two things, little souvenirs and food!!!
Their food stalls are great, highlighting the local food-fare and their prices and portions are very affordable.
