Bread shop / bahn mi Thanh Quân

love the banh mi! only two choices (breakfast and roasted pork) but both are exceptional! the bahn mi are always freshly baked at the back, always crispy on the outside and soft inside. tasty and full of flavours.
its also a popular bahn mi place for locals! (though they usually just get the plain one)

Hidden gem in a local market. The roasted pork banh mi costs only 30k dong but it tastes so good! Crispy pork skin. There are other cheaper choices such as fish. You can choose the normal one or the spicy version. The spicy one is really good! The shop has its own big bakery at the back so no wonder the bread is so fresh. And I saw some locals bought a dozen of bread so it doesn’t serve tourists only.

Bahn mi starting from 20k and as well if you crave for some fresh plain baguette, they sell them for 4k each, a joy for the morning breakfast. As well as this they have crispy pork (already cooked) to sell for 400k/kilo. Be there before 3pm as all the stalls from the area buy directly from him. Tip: 2 stores to the left you can find dairy and a variety of milk. You’re welcome

Hands down the best Banh mi in Vietnam. The bread, the pork, the sauce… I could eat this meal everyday for the rest of my life and die a very happy man.

Oh my god I think it’s my favourite banh mi ever! Forget the popular overrated places and come straight here. Straightforward guy, cheap price and the best roast pork you’ll ever have. If you can handle spicy stuff, make sure you tell the guy you want it spicy :)
