Chinh's Riverside Restaurant

Such a lovely hidden gem we stumbled across. Hope and Nhon were little gems themselves, truly amazing people! We went back almost every night during our stay. Great food and beer at low prices. Located right on the river with a beautiful view of the sunset. So happy to have met you Hope and Nhon, we’ll def visit again on our next adventure to Vietnam 😊😊😊

Vegetarian spring rolls (deep fried but not to heavy) was very tasty! Chicken with lemongrass & chili was somewhat spicy and my husband loved it. The Cau Lau was tasty and quite mild. We finished all of it and would order it again.

It’s right on the water and by the bridge witch makes for an interesting mix of calm and “local life” with honking scooters.

We didn’t expect to stumble across this hidden gem in Hoi An as google says it’s temporarily closed. We ordered the Chau Lau and it was delicious - also freshly made. Much cheaper than the price you pay in old town too. They also gave us a little plate of fruit after we finished our meal. Support local business come and try for yourself.

Nice and cosy restaurant just by the river. It's close to the busy bridge but at night you do not notice it. The place was empty and the power went out for 5 minutes but the friendly staff were very accommodating. Good price and complimentary watermelon.

Super kind family and an enormous menu full of vietnamese and Western dishes. Also it's right on the river so there is a beautiful view during sunset.

We ate here multiple times in our short stay in Vietnam and loved it every single time. The food is delicious and the owners are so lovely.

Beautiful food, nice setting and very pleasant staff. Will be going back, prawn noodles and prawn with lemongrass and chilli all freshly prepared.

One of the best experiences I have had from Vietnamese restaurants. Cute, secluded location near the river where the river moves fast enough that there's no smell from it. Cute lamps in the evening. Quite romantic and the food was awesome. Also the service was great! All thumbs up.

We'd originally planned to eat at the restaurant next door but thankfully my wife suggested that we should eat here instead....and what a great decision that was.

The location on the river was really peaceful and added to the calm setting.

There two other remarkable things about this restaurant one of which is the food. It was fresh and tasty with well sized portion and some dishes we'd not seen in other restaurants....oh and their Long Island Ice Tea cocktails were superb.

The second point of note was the excellent service. This like many excellent restaurants this is a family run business. Vie and his cousin who were front of house were warm friendly and above all made us feel almost like we were part of their family enjoying dinner at their home. We chatted a lot and his young son was a delight showing his prowess at counting to ten in English.

If you're in this part of Hoi An i highly recommend Chinh's restaurant and look forward to returning to it when we next visit this wonderful town.

Such a cool experience. The family was lovely and very happy to help. The food was so tasty and very well priced. We had a set menu to try a few dishes which was a great idea.
The placement is really cool and gives the restaurant a great ambience.

We drove by this place in the daytime and thought it would be beautiful at night. Several reviews said it is a romantic restaurant and it really is so. The atmosphere is special and anyone not from the tropics will love it.
We had two different Shrimp dishes and both were perfect with great tasting sauces to go with very nice presentation. As others' had said the owner is really nice and we had a nice time talking after dinner and met her son's girlfriend as well.
The restaurant is right on the river by the bridge coming from the Cue Bai Beach
and would be a ten-minute ride from downtown. The prices are low and the food and service are memorable.
We will be going back tomorrow as I left my wallet in my other pants at our Sea Star Homestay ( another great find) and the owner insisted that I come back in the morning rather than tonight, just like back home, right!

Great spot! One of our favourite restaurants in hoi an. We have been here 3 years ago and because it was so good that time, we came back this time to eat here again. Both times we had a set menu and it was absolutely delicious. Everything is fresh and cooked individually. The family is very lovely as well. Would always come back again.

Really cute restaurant on the river side. Varied menu and good prices. Nice wine list as well. The waiter was super friendly and gave us some nice freebies. (Fruit plate and hot tea after the meal. )

Have been twice now, and love it! Very quaint little restaurant on the river down a bamboo bridge and coloured lanterns glowing whilst watching the sunset. Food very good as Mama is the chef and Daht the son offers wonderful service

The people working here are wonderful, and after a few times of dining here, I have enjoyed every meal more and more. The view is beautiful, and a romantic ambiance. Will be back again for sure!

wonderful atmosphere and service!

Since 4 days when I’m in Vietnam, I was lookinh for a real local cuisine. Absolutely best shot ever! Food as well as service was excellent!

Had a great lunch here and the ice coffee was also amazing!!! Viet served us and was so friendly he also answered a lot of our questions about the local fishing which was a real bonus
