Bongs’ Laundry

No idea if I paid too much but I had a great time hanging with the happiest lady in Hoi An and her little dog.

I personally sent many thousands of tourists to Mrs Bong during my 9 years as a tour guide, and had nothing but good results. Mrs Bong usually hangs out across the road from the Hoi An Hotel, you will recognise her immediately as she is known as “The Happiest Person in Hoi An”! If she’s not there just pop down the alley, her Laundry service is the last house on the left, with lots of outdoor space for drying and electric driers too (a rarity in Hoi An to have both). Her lack of English has never been a problem, and she has a great relationship with the Hoi An Hotel across the road so feel free to save some money on laundry if you are staying there. HIGHLY Recommended!

Clothes were clean, folded perfectly, took less than 24 hours, hung-dried on my request, and she is very warm and personable. Definite recommend !!!

Charged 150k for 3kg (around 90-100 elsewhere in Vietnam). This is essentially a family home and the I got the feeling the price was chosen based on us being foreigners.

Came 30 mins after time specified and the clothes weren't ready.

Folded & cleaned well but I'd suggest going elsewhere.

Happy old lady as stated in the other reviews but only due to being shifty on the price. Was quoted 250k Dong for 5kgs then when questioned then she drops it to 200k Dong. The prices are made up on the spot. Average price for laundry is roughly 20k to 30k Dong per KG. Do yourselves a favor and find yourself a laundry mat that has a price cleary written on the sign out the front. Would not recommend this place. 👎

Didn't use her service due to her ripping us off straight away. She quoted us 150k dong for just under 3.5kg of clothes. To cut the long story short, she ended dropping it to 100k but I still didn't trust her. We ended up going to a different laundry service for a much cheaper price and our clothes weighed 2.7kg in the other place. Dont bother wasting your time going to bongs laundry!

개인저울을 휴대하고 다니며 정확히2kg무게가 나왔습니다
봉스 세탁소에 가니 3kg이라고 15만동 달라고 하더군요 +-오차가 있더라도 차이가 너무많이 나더군요 제가 휴대용 저울 보여주니 썩은 표정이더라구요 바로옆집에 세탁소가 있었으나 그냥 알았다고 하고 15만동에 마무리 지었습니다 다음날 세탁물 찾으러가서 10만동만 주고나왔습니다 스몰보이 되었습니다 찌질한놈 처럼 쳐다보더군요 좋은추억입니다 세탁은 그럭저럭 예쁘게 접어놨더군요 참고로 존니 큰개와 장닭5마리 키워서 무서웠어요

우리는 호구입니다 처음에는 빨래를 나누길래 따로 세탁할거 나누는 구나햤는데 내팬티를 여기에 한개 저기에 한개 담길래 뭐지 했다 그리고 가격대를 다르게 적는다 그리고 우리나라 돈으로 2만원을달라고 하드라 정확히 40만동 그래서 리뷰 찾아보고 거는거라 이가격이 아니다 라고 하니 안된다 싸다 몇번 실랑이 하니 30만동 부름 역시 난 호구구나 그래서 갈라고 하니 20만동 부른다 그래서 난 더 호구구나 느낌 여긴 한국 사람을 호구로 보는 곳이 많으니 조심하세요 다들 영수증 꼭 확인하고 이 할매 진짜 아니다 가지마라 그 옆에 세탁소 더 있으니 찾아보세요 방금 같은 빨래로 맡겼는데 17500동 이라고 함 난 끝까지 호구 였다 그 할매한테
