Excellent service from all aspects of the hotel.
Relaxing pool areas (especially adults pool). High level of food quality and plenty of happy hours.
Second time here, due to the first being so great.
For the money (through Luxury Escapes), it hard to fault anything. Very high quality, and sure to be back sometime in the future. People are friendly and understanding here.
The tailors (fitters) by the reception, create quality shoes and clothes made to measure, so good.
Highly recommend this hotel, away from the (at times) crowded, but lovely, town.

I spent 8 days at the Sunrise Premium - I had originally booked for 6 days but extended within a day of arrival. I enjoyed everything about my stay, but I think the highlight was the staff. Everyone I encountered was just delightful, friendly and focussed on providing the best possible service. The spa facilities and the gym were both excellent. The quality of the food was also far better than I expected and reasonably priced. I had some lovely meals at both the pool restaurant and the ‘spice’ restaurant.

Fantastic stay at a well furnished resort and friendly staff. We were a family group staying in 2 rooms and they were very accommodating. The pool was fantastic and the kids loved it.
Great buffet breakfast with assortment of Western and Asian food with some cook to order stations.

Great hotel, fantastic facilities, very clean and comfortable. Highly recommended for families. Very little to complain about and definitely a well deserved five stars hotel.

The service is a bit of a hit-and-miss though. On the last day alone, we faced two very rude employees. First at check-out we were asked to remain at the counter for 15 minutes because they wanted to double-check that we did not take anything from the mini-bar, while our kids were waiting to go to the loo. In 30 years I have been travelling it is the first time I am being treated like a thief. In the end they confirmed we did not touch the mini-bar and let us go. Secondly, the driver taking us back to the airport literally dropped our luggage and left one second later, without giving us an opportunity to check if we had left anything behind and without saying goodbye. Certainly not the friendly service I am used to, in particular in Asia.

So to sum up, a fantastic resort but which could gain from having a more consistent service (for their defence, all the other employees we talked with were extremely helpful and friendly). I would still give it a 5 star rating assuming we were just extremely unlucky but please make sure all your employees use the same standards when it comes to customer services (happy to discuss with you offline if you need the details of the person who treated us and our 3 young children as a band of mini-bar booze thiefs).

Amazing hotel. The service and the quality of food and cocktails were outstanding. Not all too expensive either all things considered. The in house tailor was fantastic too. Had two suits and 3 shirts made up. Rooms were fantastic and very clean. There's a pillow menu too, even in the run of the mill deluxe rooms. Breakfast selection was huge. Couldnt recommend this hotel enough.

My husband and I absolutely love the Sunrise. We are looking forward to our up coming stay for 9 nights in October this year. This will be our 4 stay, one stay included our grandson at the tie he was 12 years old and he loved every moment.
We have always booked directly with the resort and have always found the staff to be very helpful.
Staff always makes you feel welcome on your return visits.
Resort is always clean and tidy.
love the pools especially the bottom one that only over 12 year old can use even though we spend most of our time around the big pool.
Nothing is ever a problem for staff.

It does live up to its 5-star standard and has been able to provide everyone with amazing service. Intricate but cozy room design could be a bit tricky for some people but they are well-equipped, you just need to be very thorough when searching for things in the room (for instance: fridge, toilet bowl, etc.)

Glad to see the resort still functions, though not at full force due to Covid-19. 10/10 would come back again. Good luck in the future, Sunrise.

We loved our time at Sunrise! There was always someone to help us in the lobby or at the door. Our questions were always met with a smile and attended to. The breakfast was wonderful! Unfortunately, we only got to take advantage of the tea one day (we forgot about it until the last day) but it was fabulous as well. The only thing I think could think of would be to have a gift shop that was more trinket based with snacks and conveniences for moderate prices.

This beautiful resort offers the perfect experience well situated apart from the tourist bustle of Hoi An. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. There is an expceptional variety of delicious food. The staff is very courteous and helpful. And most convenient was the ability to have clothes tailored on the premise!

Our time in here was excellent. View from room is amazing, and staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast has a good variety and the food is good quality. I love beach restaurant also, because of delicious food. I definitely would come back here.

The whole complex was amazing, from the large welcoming foyer to the deep blue of the infinity pool seemingly flow into the resorts private beach. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful. With numerous places to eat in the resort the wide variety of food was topped only by the exquisite tastes of both local indigenous foods and those custom made for the Western palate. I would throughly recommend this fantastic haven along the shorea of Hoi An

The room was amazing, as was the settings; gardens and pools. The menu was top class, particularly referring to the local dishes, with room services is available 24hrs. We will definitely return.

Best hotel experience ever! We booked 2 connected rooms for 6 nights for family of 5 (2 +3) and never got tired of the hotel facilities and amenities. It became our second home. Rooms are spacy and well equiped and the view...fascinating day and night. Such a lovely stuff always serving with a smile and greeting you. Tour desk is very helpful and speaks good English. Worth every penny we spent here. We will come back if we ever return to Hoian.

Just came back from a luxury escapes package. All I can say is WOW!!!
This resort is fantastic if you just want to relax as we did.
Our package included the room, breakfast and 3 course course dinners. We had a choice of 2 restaurants for dinner. Spice and the lounge. We ate at spice 1 night but the lounge offered more western food. We had amazing choices. If you do order the steak make sure it's the medallions (fillet steak)as the others are a different cut and tend to be chewy. We also had included 8 spa treatments to be shared between us. These were fabulous.
Pools were great. Main pool good for quiet relax and pool near the beach has music playing. If you want a trip into hoi an city just grab a taxi but at this stage Its not developed enough. No markets like thialand. In time I'm sure they will get to it one day.
Overall we will be staying again of another luxury escapes comes up.

Comfortable clean large resort. Friendly staff. Heaps of other holiday makers, but plenty of space. Restaurant was kid friendly, if you wanted kid free dining I think you joined a club to access other restaurants.

We enjoyed a 3 night stay at this wonderful resort a short 10 minutes taxi ride from historical Hoi An Centre. Lovely place to come back to after a busy hot day shopping and getting tailoring done. Cheap massage place across the road from the resort is a great way to spend some relaxing time too.

Overall it is a very value for money stay, we love it! The room is spacious and bright, facilities and food are very good. Spa is unbeatable and irresistible wirh its low price and service. That’s why we visited every day during our visit.
The BBQ buffet on Saturday night was the only disappointment of our trip as there wasn’t much variety of seafood as the name its called “seafood buffet “.

I had a lunch in Hotel Sunrise Hoi An and service and food was so good. Everything was so tasty. Prices were reasonable and service was good. Tried a few different dishes: fried rolls-awesome, egg pancake-awesome, chicken and pork skewers -ok, hot and sour seafood hot pot-awesome. I would love to go back and eat more yummy Vietnamese food.

We stayed in a suite and were very impressed by the size of the room, thoughtful layout, and general clean state of the resort.

The biggest asset of the resort is the staff, who all were great and proficient with english, which was handy because we don't speak Vietnamese. As gay travelers we were never made to feel less welcome. Staff also were great when dealing with horrible Australians, we wirnessed one pissed women demonstrate a pepper grinder was clogged due humidity by grinding it on a waiter, the response was professional, polite and great.

As people who travel to try different cuisine we found the resteraunts good but not memorable. The "lounge dinning" was nice but not relaxing due to clashing music from the near by sports bar.

The only area we feel the resort wasn't hitting the mark was signs of wear and tear on lobby and resteraunt fittings, chipped stonework, broken table bits n' bobs, and odd electrical wiring exposed. As a gallery owner, also some of the artwork was odd and hung very badly. I would have liked to experience local makers arts and crafts, and probably would have bought it.

I would recommend Sunrise, however there are lots of new resorts about to open and Sunrise may struggle to keep pace.
